He is called the last Soviet romantic. The biography of Viktor Tsoi - singer, rock musician, founder of the popular rock band "Cinema" - was very short, but contained a lot. The hectic life of a modern young man, full of passions, ebullient activity, a breakthrough, mad fame, fit in 28 years.
The beginning of the way
Coming to the biography of the singer and poet, you involuntarily feel a certain confusion: after all, you have lived so little that the life path cannot be divided into childhood, youth, career, personal life. But all this, though swiftly, was passed by Viktor Tsoi! A short biography until the day when he shouted from the screens: “Change! We are waiting for changes! ”, It could have looked like this: he was born into a Russian-Korean family in Leningrad in 1962, on June 21, he grew a little older - he started playing the guitar, then he began to compose and perform songs, created a rock band, starred in several films. And on August 15, 1990, the irreparable happened, and Russia lost one of its best singers.
Creation
This bully and dvoechnik was a man of incredible talents. He is a musician, and a poet, and a prose writer, and an artist, and a sculptor, and a film actor. At the age of 12, while studying at a secondary art school, he was already a member of the rock group "Chamber No. 6", led by Maxim Pashkov.
At 15, he was a student at the Serov Art School, and a year later he was expelled "for poor progress." What to do, the biography of Viktor Tsoi is a biography not of a diligent student, but of a rebel and extreme. While studying in evening school, Victor works at a factory, then enters a vocational school and studies the profession of woodcarver. Judging by the sculptural compositions made by his hand, he studied arts and crafts with pleasure.
And of course, rock music is the biggest passion of everything that includes the biography of Viktor Tsoi. Oleg Valinsky, Alexei Rybin and Tsoi created the group “Garin and Hyperboloids” in 1981 and soon joined the Leningrad Rock Club. A year later, young musicians released their first album - "45". Now the group is called differently - "Cinema".
Minutes of fame and the “white ticket”
You need to live on something. Victor writes poetry and songs, performs at concerts, and at the same time works (with varying degrees of success) in restoration workshops, in a boiler room, in a city garden and park trust. His wooden mini-sculptures - netsuke - are now considered a rarity, and rarely does a lucky fan of the artist's work boast that he has what Viktor Tsoi did with his own hands.
The biography and creative activity of the rock musician and his group, meanwhile, is on the rise. Kino already has its own fans and fan clubs. It is impossible to get to their concerts, and at the same time they are still listed in the "failed young musicians." In 1983, in between concerts, Tsoi manages to get into a psychiatric hospital. True, he leaves from there with a “white ticket” in his hands. From now on, rock is the main business of life, not counting the girl Marianne, with whom they married in 1985. In the autumn of that year, their son Alexander was born. Five years left to live ...
Tragedy
Since 1985, the biography of Viktor Tsoi has entered a new, happy streak: a beloved woman, a child, the release of two albums at once - “Night” and “This Is Not Love”. In 1986, viewers see the new Viktor Tsoi - a film artist. True, after the first experiments, he admitted that he is not an actor and does not want to reincarnate, and agrees to play roles in the cinema, only expressing his “I” in them. The first experience is the film “The End of Vacations”, then “Rock” (directed by Alexei Uchitel), and finally “Assa”, where he played himself in a short role, with the very song “We are waiting for a change”.
In 1987, the group recorded the album "Blood Type" and at the festival of the rock club received the prize "For creative adulthood." 1988 - two huge events at once - the release of Rashid Nugmanov’s film “The Needle” with Viktor Tsoi in the title role and the album “A Star named after the Sun”. 1989 - film critics call him the best film actor of the year.
And the fateful 1990 - concerts throughout the country, a trip to Japan, the last concert in the Luzhniki Stadium, the tour is scheduled months in advance.
On August 15, in the early morning on the not-so-busy highway near Riga, an accident occurred in which Viktor Tsoi died. He was barely 28 years old. “Choi is alive,” shouted graffiti on the walls of houses across the country. In Moscow on the Arbat, these inscriptions have been preserved to this day. The singer is alive while his songs are listened to and remembered. The album, released after the death of Viktor Tsoi, bore a telling name - “Black Album”.
