We all remember the fabulously tasty cakes that our grandmother or mother baked to us in childhood. The filling was constantly changing, and the taste of the pie was always excellent. We ourselves have grown and now we want to please our children and loved ones with the simplest and most delicious sweets. Charlotte is prepared using a variety of fillings, among which there may be berries common for Russia and exotic fruits, but a classic version is still charlotte with apples. A simple recipe for this dish will be described below. The taste of the cake is highly dependent on the variety of apples used. It is very important that they are natural, and not beautiful, chemically-bulk. It is not difficult to distinguish good apples: firstly, they will not be completely liquid and shiny, some kind of defect is always found (a small wormhole, a crust in various places, etc. - show that this fruit would also have liked very much); secondly, the freshest apples appear in various regions of the country mainly in late summer - early autumn, when a new crop arrives.
In order for charlotte with apples a simple recipe to turn out tasty and fragrant, it is best to use acidic varieties of apples (Antonovka is great). The number of ingredients is striking in its moderation, and the result, following the recipe, exceeds all expectations. You will need:
- flour (1 glass),
- vanilla sugar (half a teaspoon),
- sugar (1 glass),
- apples (two medium sizes),
- egg (3 pieces),
- baking powder (1 teaspoon),
- some salt.
The sequence according to which a charlotte with apples a simple recipe will be ready in a maximum of an hour, is as follows:
1) Apples thoroughly washed and peeled and peeled, cut into quarters. Each quarter is carefully transferred into several pieces with a width of 0.5 cm. After that, a cut is laid in the form so that one even layer appears at the bottom.
2) Prepare the batter. To do this, beat eggs with sugar using a mixer, adding salt and vanilla sugar after beating . Then gently pour flour and baking powder. The whites are whipped on a mixer, gradually adding sugar. After their size increases 3-4 times, add the yolks, cereals, quickly alter and put to bake. You should get a biscuit, which after cooling is cut into 3 parts.
Cream for the filling is prepared from sour cream, whipping it with sugar to a dense consistency. The biscuit is impregnated with jam, for example cherry, and cream is placed between the layers.
