In this form cloudberries will "live" for at least six months. The maximum possible shelf life is 2 years.
The method is not suitable for overripe and rumpled berries. They are best used for jam or eat fresh.

- Put the berries in a jar and pour all the syrup to the neck. Roll up the lid, turn it over, wrap it with a thick blanket and wait until it cools completely.
This compote can be stored even in a warm place for a year.
Cloudberry jam
In principle, any recipe designed for raspberries will do. You can use the following simple method.
Take 1 kilogram of berries and granulated sugar, and a half glasses of water.
- Sort out cloudberries, rinse well under running water and let the liquid drain.
- Pour water into a saucepan, bring to a boil, add sugar and boil the syrup.
- Gently lay the berries, stir and set a low heat.
- Cook cloudberries until cooked. If necessary, it is preferable not to mix the mass with a spoon, but to shake.
- Pour jam into pre-sterilized jars, roll up the lids, turn over, wrap and hold in this form until completely cooled.
- Place the cans in a cool and dark place to store.
A recipe for jam on honey is popular. The algorithm is about the same, only 1 kilogram of cloudberries is taken instead of sugar 1.5 kilograms of honey. Water for this recipe needs to measure 0.5 liters.

How to store cloudberries in the form of jam if jam is not pleasant due to the presence of seeds in it?
You have to grind the berries through a strainer. The rest of the cooking process is similar.
- In the resulting thick juice after grinding, add water and sugar.
- Cook on low heat for half an hour.
- Roll up the finished jam in jars.
Cloudberry Syrup Concentrate
The method is good for very ripe berries.
- Rub cloudberries through a sieve.
- You will get a thick amber-colored juice. For 1 liter of such a mass, take 0.5 kilograms of sugar.
- Mix everything, bottle and cork.
The syrup has a bitterness. You can use it for making drinks or as an ingredient in dishes. In the first case, the concentrate should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1: 5.

Various jams and preserves are an excellent answer to the question of how to store cloudberries. For the winter, such a supply will never hurt, because in the cold season it is so nice to eat something berry and fruit.
Another thing is that not everyone likes to mess with making jam. But this is not necessary, there is a simpler way.
Prepare: cloudberries, sugar, water, a pan, 0.5 or 1 liter cans, lids, a rolling machine.
- Sterilize the jars.
- Carefully sort cloudberries and remove the sepals, laying the berries in parts on a colander. Substitute a bowl or pan under it so as not to lose delicious juice.
- Prepared berries move in jars as follows. Put a two-centimeter layer of cloudberries in a container and pour it with two tablespoons of sugar. Then in the same way a new layer of berries and sugar. After each layer, the jar needs to be gently shaken for even distribution.
- You can fill the tank with a slide, as the berries subsequently settle. Sprinkle the last layer with sugar. Pour into the jar the juice that was released during the process of sorting the berries.
- Cover the jars (until you roll them up!) With sterilized lids and leave them alone for four hours.
- Preheat the oven to 120 degrees and send cloudberries to it for about twenty minutes.
- Next, increase the temperature to 150 degrees and keep the cans in the oven for another half hour. If the juice splashes out, slightly reduce the temperature.
- When time runs out, take out the cans and immediately roll up. Each needs to be shaken a little and put down the lid. Let them stay in this position until the contents cool down.

It turned out such a cloudberry with sugar. How much and how to store it? Just like almost any conservation - in a cool, dark place throughout the year.
