Many instead of the usual potatoes for a side dish prefer to cook pasta. These "guests from Italian cuisine" have long been familiar to us. Over the years, these flour products of various shapes have firmly entered the diet of every family. But to eat them just in a boiled form is not tasty. Therefore, most often, pasta is cooked with various kinds of gravy. Together with them, ordinary pieces of dough become an appetizing and fairly high-calorie dish.

In principle, pasta gravy is a sauce that liberally flavors the main product and gives it a unique taste and aroma. It is mainly used for second courses and acts as a kind of side dish. Gravy for pasta can be very different: creamy, vegetable, cheese, cooked with meat, seafood or mushrooms. It all depends on the taste and availability of products. The easiest option is a vegetable. It will take no more than 30 minutes to cook. Yes, and the necessary products can always be found in the refrigerator. The ratio of products is approximately the following: 1 bell pepper, 1 onion, a couple of garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, a glass of broth, 4 tablespoons of tomato paste, 4 medium tomatoes, salt and a teaspoon of any seasoning. It is necessary to cook in the following sequence:

1. Heat the oil in a pan.

2. Add chopped onion and pepper. Put the mass out for 6-7 minutes, until the products are softer.

3. Then add the mixture of garlic and tomatoes, previously crushed in a blender. In this composition, warm the mass for another 5 minutes.

4. Now it remains to add the pasta and spices, and then cook the mixture, stirring constantly for 20 minutes. As soon as it thickens, we can assume that the gravy for pasta is ready.

Creamy Miracle

Components for gravy can be any food product. Take cheese, for example. It is already initially associated with pasta. You can make such a wonderful sauce without much hassle in just 10 minutes. The simplest products are needed: a glass of any soft cheese, black pepper, 150 milliliters of milk, salt and ground paprika. Everything is prepared quickly in two steps:

1. Pour milk into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil.

2. Add cheese and heat the mixture until it melts at all.

3. Pour the remaining components, mix well and remove from heat. Fragrant pasta sauce with cheese perfectly complements the dish.

Mushroom pleasure

Each housewife has her own recipe for pasta sauce . Over time, it can improve and turn into a crown dish, which is usually prepared to meet the desired guests. A good option for this case can be mushroom sauce. Of the products you will need the following: 3 fresh champignons, a glass of sour cream, 1 onion, salt, a tablespoon of flour and vegetable oil. It’s easy to cook it:

1. Mushrooms must be thoroughly washed and cut into thin slices, and chop the onion in half rings. The thickness of the forest gifts should be minimal so that the mass is more homogeneous.

2. Put the pan on the fire, pour oil into it and pour the mushrooms. They need to be slightly fried, stirring constantly.

3. Salt the mixture, add the onion and continue to fry until it is soft and clear.

4. Then the boiling mass must be sprinkled with flour so that it is more viscous, and not crumbly. And do not forget to stir all the time.

5. Now the last and most important stage. Pour the almost finished mixture with sour cream, mix and cover. Extinguish no more than five minutes so that the dairy product does not have time to decompose into fractions. That's all. Now you can water any pasta with a thick aromatic mixture and safely carry them to the table.

No one will argue that gravy with meat is better for pasta than any other. She turns them from a simple side dish into a mouth-watering independent dish. You can make it both from pieces of fresh meat and from prepared meat. Here, everyone does his own thing. For example, take this option: 100 grams of minced meat, ground pepper, 3 onion heads, 2 garlic cloves, 1 cream cheese, salt, tomato paste and any spices. Such a mixture is prepared in two pans:

1. On one it is necessary to fry minced meat in vegetable oil.

2. In another pan, melt the cheese and add onion and tomato paste to it.

3. After 10 minutes, mix the contents in different dishes in one, cover tightly and leave over low heat for another 10 minutes.

4. Add chopped garlic to the resulting mass and bring the product to readiness. Salt, spices and pepper can be added to taste at any stage. Ultimately, an appetizing, dense mass should be obtained that perfectly complements the freshly cooked pasta.
