Because as soon as the ingredients have become a single mass, you can put the dough for 10 minutes in the refrigerator, and only then roll it out and cut circles (I usually make it with a glass).

If you don’t want to wait until the dough cools down a little and comes to your senses, then you can immediately roll balls from it and put it on parchment for baking. In the oven, cookies will increase in size, you need a small distance between the balls.

The baking time is 20 minutes. Temperature - 180 - 190 degrees.

1. Reduce the amount of sugar, it can be replaced with honey. Just don't sprinkle the sweetener. The dough does not like to be deceived. Calculation of approximately one part of honey to two parts of oatmeal. You can make a quarter glass of honey and half a glass of cane (or other more healthy) sugar.

2. Add nuts and dried fruits to your taste. You can add a little (50 grams) of dark chocolate, grated or finely chopped.

3. If you are attracted to experiments, try adding pulp of pumpkin or apple instead of butter or margarine and sugar. It turns out pretty original taste. The pulp needs about a glass, maybe a little less. And don't forget to add a couple of egg whites.
