If you like seafood, then crab meat dishes will be a great addition to your diet. They have a pleasant taste, rich in nutrients, and at the same time can be used in diets. To properly boil crabs, they need to be lowered into the water when it is already boiling and salted. When the crabs sink to the bottom and change color to red-orange, they can be pulled out. Salads and soups, sauces and snacks can be prepared from crabs.
Crab Dishes: Julien
Boil 400 g of crabs, peel and divide into small pieces, removing the chitin plates. Then 2 cloves of garlic need to be chopped and lightly fry in a saucepan. Add there 100 ml of white wine, crab meat and, stirring, keep on low heat until the wine evaporates. Heat 400 ml of cream and combine with the mixture in a saucepan, keep for 6 minutes on low heat. When it cools down, you need to add lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Roll out 1 package of puff pastry with a 2-3 mm thick cake. Squeeze 18-20 circles out of a cake into a glass. Set aside half, and in the second half, cut the rims with a glass with a smaller diameter. These rims should be put on whole circles, greased with whipped protein and put in the oven for 15 minutes. These molds need to be filled with a mixture of crab meat, sprinkle with 50 g of shabby hard cheese and bake for another 5 minutes, so that the cheese melts.
Crab Dishes: Vietnamese Soup
First you need to cook the broth: for 3 liters of water you will need 1 chicken and a small piece of ginger root. Then take 50 g of boiled chicken and crab meat, cut them into strips. Dice half the bell pepper. Add there 1 tablespoon of green peas and 5 chopped shiitaki mushrooms (can be replaced), pour the mixture with 200 grams of chicken broth and boil for about 10 minutes. Then add 1 beaten chicken egg and a spoonful of starch diluted with water. Bring the mixture to a boil and, without delay, remove from heat. While serving, sprinkle soup in each plate with chopped hard-boiled quail eggs and green onions.
Crab Dishes: Albanian Brodetto
Boil 100 g crabs, peel and chop them. Boil 6 potatoes and cut them into circles. Mix potatoes and crab meat, add pepper and salt, sprinkle with vegetable oil. Sprinkle with chopped parsley on top, add a little wine vinegar (0.5 cups) and simmer for 30 minutes.
Crab Dishes: Canapes
To prepare canapes with crab, finely chop green onions (5 feathers), a little dill, celery stalks and half a bell pepper. Mix 1 can of canned crab meat with chopped herbs, a mixture of 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of mustard, salt.
Put the resulting crab salad on lettuce leaves (preferably Romano), garnish with parsley leaves. Each sheet needs to be put on a loaf (cracker or cakes are suitable). Canapes are ready!
Crab dishes: tortillas in lemon-dill sauce
First prepare the sauce. To do this, mix ΒΌ cup low-fat cream with 200 g of mayonnaise, finely chopped parsley and dill, 1 tablespoon of shabby lemon zest, a spoon of lemon juice and a chopped clove of garlic. The resulting mixture is left in the refrigerator until thickened.
In the meantime, you can make cakes. Melt a spoonful of butter in a pan, add finely chopped 1 clove of garlic, one bunch of green onion and Β½ bell pepper to it and fry. Add 1 egg, Β½ cup breadcrumbs, 3 tablespoons cream (fat) and a spoonful of mustard to the mixture. Mix everything well, add salt, black pepper, finely chopped parsley (1 bunch) and the same amount of green onion. Canned crab meat (450 g) cut into small pieces, add them to the vegetable mixture and form small cakes (their thickness should be about 2 cm). Mix 100 g breadcrumbs with a quarter cup of shabby Parmesan cheese and roll crab cakes in the resulting mixture. Put them in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Mix a spoonful of any vegetable and cream butter, heat in a frying pan and fry the cakes (a crust should result). When serving, pour cakes with sauce.
