In 2015, a pilot episode of the series “I Am A Zombie” was released. The project was created according to the comic book series of the same name. The project became so successful that in May 2017 it was extended for the fifth season.

Plot
Olivia Moore worked in a prestigious clinic. She had everything: a promising career, best friend, groom. But everything changed when Olivia went to celebrate Independence Day. The catastrophe that happened on board the yacht changed the girl's life.
On the morning after the tragedy, Olivia woke up in a corpse bag. Part of her hair turned white, and a deep scratch flashed on her hand. The girl, without thinking twice, went home. And there she discovered a few oddities. Food has lost its taste, the only thing taste recipes at least somehow react to is hot sauce. Her hair was completely white and her skin was pale. Her thoughts revolve around human brains all the time.
Quickly putting all the elements of the picture together, Olivia realized that she had turned into a zombie. But the girl did not lose hope. She realized that her life would change, but she accepted the change with her head held high.
Olivia changed her job: from the clinic to the morgue, where there will always be access to the brain. She broke off relations with the groom and fenced off from friends. But even in the basement, as a medical examiner, Olivia found a way to help people.

In the series “I am a Zombie”, the actors had to try on unusual images and play zombies. Rose McIver, who played Olivia Moore, was approved for the role of the "main" zombie series.
Her character is not a weak and helpless girl. Having become a zombie, Liv managed to take control of the situation. She got a job in a morgue to have unlimited access to the brain, without killing anyone. There were no flaws in her plan until her partner Ravi found out that her brain was gone. He quickly realized what was really happening.
But, contrary to Olivia's fears, he did not call the cops. He promised Liv that he would find a cure and again turn the girl into an ordinary person. So Olivia appeared the first and most faithful ally. Actors of the series "I am a Zombie" perfectly got used to the role. Therefore, the audience is not in doubt the warm friendly relations between Liv and Ravi.
Dr. Ravi knew that before Liv saved the lives of ordinary people. And he sees that working in the morgue does not bring Olivia happiness. Therefore, he decided to direct the ability of Miss Moore in the right direction. It turns out that when Liv eats someone’s brains, he takes over the character traits, habits and memories of his “victims”. But in the morgue there are only the bodies of those who were killed.
So Liv becomes the unofficial partner of the new detective, helping him to solve the most complicated murders.
Clive Babino
One of the regular actors of the 1st season of the series “I am a Zombie” was Malcolm Goodwin. The man played Detective Clive Babin, recently transferred to the Seattle murder department. Prior to that, he worked in the anti-drug department. He even once had to get used to the role of a drug dealer in order to arrest a supplier of a large batch of heroin.
After returning, Babino was transferred to the murder department. But new colleagues do not greatly appreciate the efforts of the detective. For them, he is just a boy who knows nothing about the real work of the detective.
But luck smiled at Babin, and he met Olivia Moore, who helped him find the culprit, using his "psychic" abilities. Although Clive does not believe in any abilities, he trusts Liv's intuition and is ready to endure her unexpected changes in character.
And soon, random partners turn into good friends.
Ravi Chakrabarti
In the series “I am a Zombie”, the actor Raul Koli played the role of Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti. Before the events of the series, Ravi worked at the disease control center. But due to excessive curiosity he was dismissed. Now a doctor who grew up in England is forced to work in a morgue at the police department.
Ravi stands out not only with a British accent. He is smart, well-read, quick-witted. And this is what allows him to understand that Liv is a zombie. But he did not trumpet this to the whole world. Ravi, on the contrary, is very concerned that Olivia could be seriously hurt if the truth is revealed. Therefore, he directs all efforts to keep secret Liv.
Dr. Chakrabarti is one of the few who are aware of the situation of Olivia. And he sees how hard it is for a girl. Wanting to make Liv's life easier, he promises that he will find a cure for the virus that turned the girl and other people into zombies.
Major Lilywight
In the series “I am a Zombie”, the actors and roles are combined perfectly. So, the role of the kind, slightly naive former groom Liv was played by Robert Buckley. His hero, Major Lilywight, was in an awkward position. The bride left the young man shortly before the wedding. Even worse, Olivia did not explain anything and cut off all communications. But the main reason for the awkwardness is the parents. Major is a good friend of the Moore family. He often has to communicate with Liv's parents, who also do not understand why the couple broke up.

Blaine McDonough
For 3 seasons of the series "I am a Zombie", actor David Anders played the role of the project’s main antagonist. His Blaine McDonough is one of the first zombies to appear in Seattle. He was the one who was responsible for the tragedy on Independence Day. And it was Blaine who was the one who infected Olivia.
It refers to the type of people who can quickly adapt to any situation and find a way to capitalize on other people's suffering. So, realizing that he had become a zombie and could infect anyone by simply scratching him, Blaine decided to get rich.
He opened a brain supply business. But the product needs buyers. Blaine picked up several loyal partners who, on his orders, infected Seattle's influential people. Then Blaine visited new zombies and offered them his goods. The infected were ready to give any amount, if only no one knew about their secret.
But Blaine's carefree life ends at the moment when Liv becomes Clive Babino's partner.
Peyton charles
Olivia Moore's best friend was played by Alison Michalka. Her character, Peyton Charles, is a lawyer who fights injustice. Peyton and Liv have known each other for many years and even rent an apartment together.
And when Liv begins to behave differently, Peyton does not understand what is happening. For many months, the girl is tormented, not knowing how to help her friend. But everything changes when Peyton finds out Liv's secret.
