Charisma is a group that is of Russian origin and works in the power metal genre. It was founded in 2004 in Moscow. The founders of the group were guitarist Leonid Fomin, vocalist Damon Avramenko and poet Alexander Elin. The latter became the producer of the team and the author of the texts.
History
Charisma is a group that was based on the idea of creating a power-metal association that would have a classic European style and Russian texts. This idea was hatched by all future founders of the team. Fomin had blanks of compositions. Yelin immediately accumulated a lot of different ideas that were not implemented in the crabs of Aria, as well as his latest author's project, Chimera. Avramenko was eager to perform original music.
Three months later, studio sessions were started. A demo was recorded. As a result, the company was offered a contract by a company called Mystery of Sound.
In November 2005, a debut album entitled “Source of Strength” was recorded. Work on it was carried out at the studio of the Black Obelisk collective. The project manager is Dmitry Borisenkov. Soon it became known that the team will perform a cover version of the song “We rock this world”, the authorship of which belongs to the group “Aria”, as part of a tribute album.
In 2013, the vocalist left the team. Ivan Seliverstov comes to replace him. With him, the team recorded a maxi-single entitled "Brothers in battle", and is also preparing the release of a new album. Alexander Kozarez became the bass player.
In 2014, the group celebrated its tenth anniversary with concerts in St. Petersburg and Moscow. A new drummer of the band was presented at them. His place was taken by Max Talion. He replaced Vyacheslav Stosenko.
In 2016, Ivan Seliverstov left the group. In September, Sergei Podkosov became the vocalist.
