Skam ("Shame") is a Norwegian series dedicated to adolescent issues. In the center of the plot "Scam" - characters who first learn about love, sex, betrayal and learn to value friendship. Everyone has terribly entertaining stories and vivid personalities. The series consists of 4 seasons, each series lasts approximately 30 minutes.

The series began in 2015. Its main feature is that all episodes of each season are dedicated to one person, and the remaining characters of the Scam fade into the background. It is not surprising that the project became mega-popular in Norway, because both small and adult are extremely interested in what modern high school students are doing, and it would be better to look at it without embellishment.
When it came to season 4, the creators immediately warned that he would be the last, which definitely upset a huge number of fans. Thus, the final episodes of the series Skam were released in April 2017.

It is interesting that the series aroused interest not only among the Norwegians, but also among residents of other countries, who themselves are famous for such on-screen creations. In Britain, this is "Skins" - a series about real English tearing off with scenes of sex, drug use, hard parties and heart-breaking moments.
In the United States, the choice is wider - a lot about the culture of American minors can be gleaned from O.S.: Lonely Hearts, Gossip Girl, Young Americans. Perhaps, the School of Valeria Gai Germanika, which caused a serious resonance in Russian society, can be ranked here.
Characters
At the head of the first season is such a character "Scam" as the girl Eva. Everything is very complicated in her personal life. She meets with Yunas, who over time is convicted of infidelity. In this regard, the company of Eva and her friends spin incredible love geometric shapes. All this gives rise to a lot of feelings, emotions and interesting situations in adolescents. The second season is based on the life of Nura, who has a very strange relationship with William.
In an attempt to understand herself and her feelings, the girl experiences really scary things. Well, without parties, dubious dates and problems with the law, it will not do here. Almost the most controversial character from the Scam list took possession of the third season. Isak wants to put an end to his sexual self-determination and builds a relationship with a guy suffering from a serious illness. The main character of “Scam” in the fourth season, Sana, also tries to find love, having parties and cranking money deals at the same time.
Actors
A total of about 10 characters of "Scam" are in the center of the plot. Since the actors did not shine in famous Hollywood films, moreover, they starred only in Norwegian projects, it is impossible to find anything exciting in their filmography. It is noteworthy that the creators were not particularly deceived with the age of the characters and actors of the Scam, most of them were not even 20 years old at the time of filming. These are not American comedies, where almost thirty-year-old people are given out to schoolchildren as spectators - everything here is natural and honest.

The Skam series has very decent performance in terms of rating: more than 8 points on both IMDb and KinoPoisk. Most of those who looked highly appreciated this peculiar Norwegian project "not for everyone". The authors of positive reviews note that the creators of the project did not make stereotypical adolescents from their heroes, whose characteristic qualities were elevated to an absurd absolute. They are ordinary, normal, they are what you want to believe.
This helps not only to penetrate their fates, but also to live with them in the same frame. Many pay tribute to aesthetics, praising well-chosen modern music, beautiful pictures and cool outfits. People often admire a good message, because it’s a good thing to highlight the problems of adolescents. And all this despite the beatiness of this topic. And the truth is, in this case, the implementation did not disappoint.
Negative and neutral opinions
The authors of negative reviews are swearing with might and main the certain fading of the characters in which they do not see bright and independent personalities. They do not want to be interested in their future fate, nor even empathize with them in difficult situations. Either because of a not very professional acting, or because of the lack of thought in the features of the main characters. Often, "zakos" are also noted for other series, which everyone has seen and discussed hundreds of times already. They cite as an example the very same “Skins”, in which, in the opinion of the “minus”, the topic is revealed much deeper.
The representatives of neutrality are saddened that the series is gorgeous on the screen, but, alas, something is missing in terms of content, which is fascinating and makes you hold your fists for your favorite heroes of teenage drama. There is also an opinion that the project is purely girlish, and can be attractive only to fans of beautiful Norwegian boys, vanilla dialogues and love stories far-fetched.
