Finely chop the onions and cabbage, pour them into a pot of water and begin to stew. The process lasts 10 minutes. After this time, drop 2-3 tablespoons of tomato paste, bay leaf into the mixture. Salt and pepper, continue to simmer another 40 minutes. After this, drain the water, add the mixture to the pies - it turns out very tasty!
