Oleg Ryaskov began his film career as a producer, screenwriter and director in the 90s. At first, he made documentaries (for example, “Secrets of the Century”) and music films. And then he tried his hand at serious directing, shooting the military film “Alexander Garden” together with Alexei Pimanov .
Immediately after the "Alexander Garden" Ryaskov began shooting the film "Servant of the Sovereigns", which stretched for 2.5 years. For this film, the director was nominated for the MTV Prize in 2008. Also, Oleg Ryaskov created the wonderful historical series Notes of the Forwarder of the Secret Office, and in 2016 another historical picture of the director’s production, King of Madagascar, will be released on the screens.
Short story
The film “The Servant of the Sovereigns”, whose actors and roles will not leave indifferent even the most demanding audience, begins in France. For the heart of a beautiful lady, two French nobles fight in a duel. Everything ends well, but King Louis XIV cannot leave unpunished the actions of two subjects.
The French monarch just needs loyal spies at the courts of the Russian Tsar and the Swedish King, which are at war between themselves. Here is the king and sends Chevalier de Breuse with letters to Peter the Great, and de la Bush - to Charles of the 12th century. Caught in the midst of military events, two French nobles will have to fight on opposite sides of the barricades and learn all the difficulties and hardships of the war.

From now on, the Frenchman and Russian will have to fight shoulder to shoulder more than once, saving their lives. They are destined to become friends: the Frenchman after the death of Voronov in the battle of Poltava adopts his children and takes him to France. So ends the film "Servant of the Sovereigns."
Actors Dmitry Miller and Alexander Bukharov, who played the main roles in the film, actually do not often appear in such large-scale projects. That is why for the serial actor Dmitry Miller, participation in such a picture is a great success.
