Buffet tables are
becoming increasingly popular
. Most often, such banquets are organized at work for colleagues. Each person can independently take the snack he needs, simply by going to the table with food. But at the same time, the buffet table requires a special approach to dishes. Most often, at such events they are served not only in portions, but also to be able to take it simply in their hands. Typically, the menu includes canapes, baskets with salad or caviar and sandwiches for receptions.
How to make the first two dishes, many are well represented, but far from all know what sandwiches are suitable for such a table. First of all, they should be easily picked up, tasty and small in size. And, of course, such sandwiches for a buffet were simply obliged to look appetizing.
Familiar sandwiches perfectly match all these criteria. True, so that they do not resemble fast food, it is better to give them the shape of a triangle or rhombus. The filling can be anything, it depends only on the imagination of the hostess of the evening. For example, you can put a slice of ham, thinly sliced ββcucumber, and grease the bread with a layer of mayonnaise, butter or cream cheese. Such sandwiches are also easy to make with fish or mushroom filling. However, all these options are quick sandwiches for a buffet table. If time permits, more sophisticated variations can be made.
Sandwiches with
ham rolls will look very original on the buffet table
. Slice a piece of bread diagonally to make a triangle. On a slice of ham put a little any salad, for example, from crab meat and roll it up. Fasten everything with green onions. Lay it on a prepared piece of bread.
However, it is not necessary that the sandwiches for the buffet were with bread. You can completely replace it with a salt cracker. A great addition to it will be chicken liver pate, quail eggs, cherry tomatoes. Another original solution will be sandwiches with cucumber and cottage cheese mousse. Cut the cucumbers into circles 1-1.5 cm thick. For a mousse with a blender, beat 100 g of cottage cheese, 50 g of cream cheese, 100 g of salmon, 2 cloves of garlic and 2 tbsp. spoons of sour cream. Finely chop dill and 50 g of salmon and mix with a spoon to the mousse. Remove the mass for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Then, using a pastry bag, put the mousse on prepared cucumber circles. Garnish with dill.

And if time allows, you can also make Hawaiian sandwiches for a buffet. For them you will need: a baguette or a small loaf, butter, cheese, ham and canned pineapple rings. Cut the baguette into slices 0.5 cm wide. Each of them is divided into 4 parts and greased with a thin layer of oil. Slice the ham and cheese. Dry the pineapple rings a little and cut each into 8 parts. Put ham on a slice of loaf, then pineapple and cheese. Fasten the sandwiches with a toothpick or wooden skewer. Put them all on a baking sheet and put in the oven for 5-7 minutes until the cheese melts. Serve both hot and cold.
Of course, the menu of any feast can be the most varied and include not only sandwiches for a buffet table. Recipes for all dishes for such events should differ not only in the simplicity of preparation, but also in their beautiful appearance and the ability to serve them portionwise.
