What drugs are used for lotions in the nose
Treatment with turundas involves a long-term effect of drugs on inflamed maxillary sinuses, so doctors do not prescribe potent hormonal drugs. In severe cases of maxillary sinusitis, tampons in the nose are an additional method of therapy to enhance the overall therapeutic effect.
Turundas are impregnated in pharmacy ointments and solutions, which are partially removed from the nasal passages along with the outflow of pus. Most often, anti-inflammatory compounds without corticosteroids, antiseptic and antimicrobial drugs are used. With a positive dynamics of recovery, medicines are replaced by natural means.
Levomekol
This drug belongs to the category of broad-spectrum antibacterial agents. It consists of two active components: the first produces an immunostimulating effect, and the second affects the pathogenic microflora. Turundas in the nose with sinusitis with Levomekol will not help if the ailment is provoked by a viral agent.
The treatment method is quite simple: you need to saturate the swab with ointment well and, while lying with your head bowed, enter it into the nasal cavity for half an hour. Since the ointment "Levomekol" contains an antimicrobial substance, it must be used strictly on the recommendation of a doctor. Dioxidin

The oil solution contains an extract of eucalyptus and other plants that have a regenerating and bactericidal effect.

Honey swabs in the nose
A natural bee product is used in folk therapy for the treatment of various diseases. Sinusitis is no exception. Turundas in the nose with honey soften the mucous membrane of the cavity, act on germs and draw pus from the sinuses. Honey helps clear the nasal passages and relieve general inflammation. Turundas are put in the nose for half an hour 2-3 times a day.

Agave juice
Aloe is a common component of traditional medicines. To prepare a solution for impregnating turund, you need to mix fresh juice from the leaves with water in equal proportions. Tampons are placed in the nasal cavity for 2-3 hours. The first 15-20 minutes you need to lie down, then you can get up and walk with turunds, breathing with your mouth. Repeat the procedure regularly for 10 days.
As a therapeutic solution, you can use another composition, in which, in addition to agave juice, liquid honey, celandine juice or Kalanchoe are added. Also, a pinch of sea salt must be added to the solution. Before each administration of turundum, a fresh medicine should be prepared.
Propolis and oil
To moisten the mucous membranes of the nose and eliminate puffiness, you can use turundas soaked in vegetable oil. Most often, they use sunflower, olive, sea buckthorn, almond oil or black cumin oil. Propolis is used as an anti-inflammatory component that relieves pain, nasal congestion and accelerates the outflow of pus from the sinuses. This component cannot be called inaccessible, as it is sold in any pharmacy.
Before dipping turunda into the solution, it must be allowed to infuse. To do this, the container with oil and propolis is removed in a dark place for at least 12 hours.
Violet root (cyclamen)
Few people know that this common indoor plant can be used to prepare a medicine for sinusitis. Lotions with freshly squeezed juice obtained from violet rhizomes relieve swelling and irritation of the mucosa. Judging by the reviews, this folk remedy often causes an allergic reaction in patients, so its use should be started with a minimum concentration.
To prepare a medicinal solution of cyclamen rhizome, it is necessary to rinse, dry, clean, pass through a meat grinder and squeeze juice from the resulting slurry through cheesecloth. When treating sinusitis in children with the help of turund, you need to be even more careful. For a child under three years old, this type of treatment is not suitable. Most drugs in which nasal swabs are soaked are contraindicated even in adolescents.
