It is difficult for many actors to break into domestic screens. At first they play small roles, but often they are remembered by the public. Roman Fedorov relatively recently began to appear on the screens, but managed to gain a lot of fans. In many films, he appeared in secondary or episodic roles, but he is still recognized on the streets.
Childhood and youth
The future actor was born back in Soviet times, in 1987, in the city of Ustinovo. After the collapse of the Union, the city was renamed Izhevsk. There, the actor’s childhood passed. Roman Fedorov was a boy with perfect facial features, so everyone predicted his career as an actor or model. He himself decided to go along this path.
After school, he had to choose where to study. Roman decided that the institute in St. Petersburg would be the best option, since there is more competition in Moscow and the quality of education is relatively the same. At SPbGATI he got to the master Cherkassky, who appreciated the talent of a young man. Before graduation, Roman Fedorov had already participated in two productions.
Rain Theater
In 2012, Roman graduated. He immediately got into the Rainy Theater, whose leader is Natalia Nikitina. She almost immediately included the young man in the main staff and began to engage in all productions. Despite the fact that the theater was for a long time as a single family, Fedorov was very warmly received in it, and he, in turn, was amazed at how Nikitina interpreted the famous plays.
He happened to participate in the most popular production of the theater “The House that Swift Built”, where he played the Black Constable. This performance is most liked by the audience; it has been included in the repertoire for more than 20 years. The role in this play confirms that Roman Fedorov is an actor, primarily a theater actor. The author of the production shared a review in which he said that the game of all the actors brought him true pleasure. He believes that the play came out practically the way he intended when writing.
Film career
Even during training, Roman began acting in series. Basically, it can be seen in the tapes of the criminal genre, which are very much produced in St. Petersburg. His first appearance on the screen was the role of Ivanov in the “Inquirer”. Later, he starred in the fifth season of the series "Foundry" and the saga "Chef 2".
The most unusual and at the same time a small role, Roman Fedorov played in the series "Family Album". Its action carries the audience in the sixties, and the actor portrays Yuri Gagarin. The director was struck by the resemblance of Roman to the famous astronaut, so he chose him. Although many actors dreamed of playing a historical figure.
