Troxevasin: instructions for use

"Troxevasin" is a bioflavonoid designed specifically to reduce vascular permeability, fragility of capillaries. The drug from the group of angioprotectors, "Troxevasin", instructions for use, clarifies this, strengthens the walls of blood vessels, helps improve blood microcirculation. This medicine relieves swelling, eliminates trophic disorders, all other changes that cause venous chronic insufficiency.

The drug is available in three dosage forms.

Troxevasin capsules consist of 300 troxerutin (this is the active ingredient), magnesium stearate, gelatin, lactose, several dyes. The capsule shell itself is standard.

"Troxevasin" - the gel is intended for external use, unlike tablets. It is a homogeneous composition, 1 g of which contains 1 mg of troxerutin, dinaria EDTA, triatanolamide, carbomer, benzalkonium chloride.

For intravenous or intramuscular administration, a solution of Troxevasin is intended.

  • Varicose veins
  • Hemorrhoids

  • Trophic dermatitis, ulcers

Where else is Troxevasin used? Indications for use of this medication are not limited to treatment only. It is used as an adjuvant.

  • before vein surgery
  • in the treatment of hemorrhoids
  • with nocturnal paresthesia of the extremities
  • for night cramps in the extremities
  • to relieve traumatic pain or swelling
  • retinopathy treatment

Does Troxevasin have contraindications? There are few of them. The medicine is not recommended for adolescents, people suffering from peptic ulcer or gastritis. In patients with severe renal impairment, the medicine is prescribed only under the constant supervision of a doctor.

"Troxevasin", recommends instructions for use, at the beginning of treatment take 2 capsules per day. If the treatment is prophylactic or supportive, then the dose is reduced to 1 capsule.

The dosage increases only with retinopathy (up to 3 capsules).

At the same time, Troxevasin gel is used when taken orally. It is applied twice a day to the affected areas, massaged until completely absorbed.

Side effects when using the drug "Troxevasin", the instructions for use are calming, are very rare. They usually manifest as mild headache irritation at the sites of application of the gel. Even less likely, stomach ulcers may occur with prolonged use of tablets.

The medicine can be used in monotherapy or as part of a complex treatment. The gel is not recommended to be applied to open bleeding wounds, mucous membranes, in the eyes.

You can not take at the same time "Troxevasin" and ascorbic acid: these two drugs enhance the effect of each other.
