  • 2 tbsp. buckwheat;
  • 1 kg of chicken drumsticks;
  • 250 g sour cream;
  • 150 g of cheese;
  • 2 medium tomatoes;
  • 1 onion;
  • 4 cloves of garlic.

And also for cooking, prepare salt and spices - peppers, hops-suneli. Soy sauce is especially good for chicken.

Pour buckwheat into a deep bowl or pan and rinse thoroughly with several waters. Then drain the cereals with a fine colander. Put on a clean towel and let dry a little.

Next, take a baking dish or a baking sheet with high sides. Lubricate with vegetable oil. Put buckwheat on the bottom, spreading it in an even layer.

Peel the onion and peel the garlic. Cut the onion into small cubes and place on top of the cereal.

Rinse the chicken drumsticks thoroughly under running water, if desired, remove the skin from them. Spread the legs tightly to each other, but not on top of each other, completely filling the form and covering the layer of buckwheat and onion. For convenience, the legs can be cut into several parts.

Sprinkle the chicken with spices, pepper, finely chopped garlic. Then cover everything with sour cream, evenly distributing it with a spoon.

Heat one and a half glasses of water, in a separate container, mix hot water with salt and pour the ingredients in a mold with it.

Next, tomatoes are laid out on the form. It is better to peel them. Make a small cut of the skin on a tomato, then pour boiling water over them, and then transfer them to cold water for a few seconds. The skin is easily removed from the tomato pulp. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices and arrange on sour cream.

Grate a piece of cheese on a fine grater and sprinkle it evenly, creating a lush fur coat. A tender crust is the main feature of such a dish as buckwheat with chicken and cheese.

Preheat the oven to 180-190 degrees. The dish is baked for an hour.
