Veterinary 'Katozal'. Instruction manual

The drug "Katozal" describes the instruction as a complex tool used in veterinary medicine. The composition of the medication includes cyanocobalamin, butophosphamide, as well as water for injection and solbrol. The drug is available in the form of a solution for subcutaneous, intravenous, intramuscular injection and oral administration (in birds).

Describing the tool "Katozal", the instruction indicates its ability to tone the body of animals, providing a stimulating effect on metabolic processes (fatty, carbohydrate, protein). The drug enhances the body's resistance (resistance) to the effects of adverse factors, contributes to normal development and growth.

The medication "Katozal" (reviews of veterinarians indicate this) is a low-toxic drug, and therefore is tolerated by animals at different ages quite well. The drug in the recommended amounts does not have embryotoxic (negative effect on the fetus), teratogenic (causing developmental disruption), sensitizing (increasing sensitivity), local irritating effects.

The drug is recommended for animals (birds, dogs, cats, cows and others) as a tonic during childbirth and to prevent postpartum complications. The medicine is shown to horses with increased activity and strain before the competition (two to three days). The instruction "Katozal" recommends young animals to increase resistance to various pathological factors, as an additional remedy for diseases provoked by insufficient magnesium and calcium in the body, as well as to increase muscle activity.

The medication is also used in anti-stress therapy, for the prevention (treatment) of metabolic disorders of various nature (against the background of poor conditions, unbalanced nutrition, various diseases). The drug "Katozal" is indicated for stimulating liver function in case of poisoning, with a deficiency of B-group vitamins (including B12), in the treatment of anemia, in order to prevent biting, reduce the period of molting and increase egg laying in birds. The medication is prescribed for the prevention of cannibalism in pigs.

Orally (orally), the drug is used in birds. The remaining animals are injected subcutaneously, intramuscularly, slowly intravenously.

The use of the drug once a day for four to five days is recommended.

Single doses of the drug in acute forms of pathologies in ml per liter of water: for laying hens - 2-3, for chickens - 1-1.5.

Dogs are injected with 0.5-5 ml of the drug; cats - 0.5-2.5 ml, piglets - 1-2.5 ml, pigs - 2.5-10 ml, goats, lambs - 1.5-2.5 ml, goats, sheep - 2.5- 8 ml, foals, calves - 5-12 ml, cattle, horses - 10-25 ml.

When used in chronic pathologies, half of a single dosage is recommended. If necessary, repeat courses withstand an interval of five to fourteen days.

As clinical observations show, when using the recommended therapeutic dosages, side effects in animals do not occur. According to the veterinarians who used the medication, there were no allergies, redness, swelling, salivation or irritation at the injection site.

Contraindications to the drug "Katozal" have not been identified.

Eggs, milk or animal meat for food purposes are used without any restrictions.

The medication "Katozal" is allowed for use both as a single drug, and as part of a complex of medicines used in treatment or prevention.

The drug must be stored at a temperature of five to twenty-five degrees, in a dark and dry place, no more than five years.
