Lasagna: pita recipe

As you know, lasagna is a dish for the preparation of which special sheets of dough are needed. But quite often it happens that they are not at hand at the right time. And then the most ordinary, generally available products come to the rescue. And the lasagna prepared with their use almost does not differ in appearance from such a dish as prepared according to all the rules of lasagna. Lavash recipe gives the same result as when using sheets of dough. But recipes from different sources have their own differences, and therefore below are a few options for the dish.

Lasagna Chicken Lavash Recipe

For cooking, you will need the following ingredients: a pound of minced chicken, 1 onion, 4 tablespoons of tomato paste, 100 milliliters of cream, oregano, pepper, basil, salt. For the sauce you need: 50 grams of butter, 2 tablespoons of table flour, 300 milliliters of milk, 400 grams of cream cheese, 4 small pita breads (the usual one, that is, it can be big, but it is usually worse in quality).

Fry peeled and finely chopped onions in vegetable oil, and then add minced chicken and fry for another 7 minutes. Add salt, pepper, tomato paste and simmer for 5 minutes, then pour the cream and stew the same amount and remove from the stove.

Melt the butter in another pan, fry the flour in it for 2 minutes and pour the milk in a thin stream, while adding salt and pepper. Cook only a couple of minutes and then remove from heat so that a crust does not form on the milk.

Rub the cheese on the smallest grater. Squeeze the sauce from the minced meat with onions and divide into 3 equal parts.

Take a baking dish and coat its bottom with 2 tablespoons of white sauce from another pan (to make delicious lavash lasagna, the recipe recommends using it). We lay pita bread, on it 1 part of the sauce, and sprinkle with cheese on top; then - pita bread, on it - as much white sauce and cheese; lavash - minced meat and cheese on it; pita - sauce with cheese on it; pita bread - minced meat and cheese on it. To the very top, drop the last sheet of pita bread, pour over the sauce and cover with the remaining cheese. Oven for half an hour at a temperature of 200 degrees. When serving on plates, lay the lasagna already cut into portions already prepared in advance. Good appetite!

Lasagna Beef Lavash Recipe

Products: 8 sheets of Armenian pita bread, 300 grams of cream cheese, 300 grams of hard cheese, one and a half kilograms of beef, 3 onions, a pound of tomatoes in their own juice. For the first sauce: a liter of ready-made Bechamel sauce, 300 grams of frozen spinach. For the second sauce: a pound of granular cottage cheese and 3 chicken eggs.

Fry onion in vegetable oil, then add tomatoes and minced meat to it and simmer until tender.

To get spicy lasagna, a recipe from pita requires two different sauces to be used in cooking. The first sauce is prepared like this: Bechamel is mixed with spinach. And the second sauce is this: mix the cottage cheese with eggs, it is better to beat, and add salt.

Grease the mold from the oven with oil and pour torn pieces of pita bread on it so that the bottom is not visible. Next come the tomatoes with minced meat, grated cream cheese and the first sauce. Then pita bread, and on it - the second sauce with minced meat, on top a layer of grated parmesan and sauce with spinach. The resulting lasagna oven should be at a temperature of about 200 degrees for 15 minutes. Cut into portions and can be decorated with cherry tomatoes and finely chopped herbs. Enjoy your meal!

Even in the absence of special products for cooking lasagna, you can use puff pastry from the store. Then in any of these recipes in place of pita bread you can substitute puff pastry divided into the same thickness and slightly dried in a pan. Then you will also get very tasty puff pastry lasagna.
