This mini-series appeared on Russian screens only four years ago (in 2011), but has already managed to win its fans. Indeed, thanks to a straightforward story, the film “Happy Ticket”, whose actors did not seem to play, but lived their roles, helped at least briefly disconnect from the real, such a difficult world, completely immersing viewers in the vicissitudes of what was happening.
Story line. Which of the three is lucky?
Mid eighties twentieth century. This is a rather difficult “perestroika” time, when the whole country is swept by the waves of future and already coming changes. Three heroes of history are in love with beautiful Elena, a young athlete who holds great promise.
At first, it seems that Petya has the least hope for a response (actor Sergei Astakhov). After all, he has a wife who will give birth to a baby any minute. But grief happens: during childbirth his wife dies, Peter remains with a tiny little son in his arms. This is how the Happy Ticket series begins. The actors who played three friends are well known to the audience. This is the already mentioned Sergey Astakhov, Denis Matrosov (the character is surgeon Anatoly) and Alexey Fateev (the character is Ilya Dronov, Elena’s second husband). And the main character, a beautiful athlete, was played by Anna Miklosh.
Story line. A truly faithful friend and loving spouse
It seems that Peter Galimin is the most inappropriate party for a promising girl in sports, but it is she who chooses her husband. Lena helps him recover from the tragedy, helps raise a little son. Together they lived for several years, and Lena gave birth to their common son Sasha. After a while, the situation in the country escalates even more. All people who have at least the slightest opportunity go abroad.
Petya, knowing this, is tormented, tormenting his wife too, because he so wants to live well right here and now, and not expect when everything will work out in the Union. In the end, he decides to find a better life across the ocean, leaving his wife with two children in his homeland.
All this is said in the mini-series “Happy Ticket”. Actors realistically played people's feelings about the events of that time when the whole country was in a “chill”.
A little time passes, and little Sasha is seriously and seriously ill - a heart problem. Lena needs a lot of money for a long treatment, which she does not have, and there is no way to take or ask someone. One of the once inseparable three friends is busy with his medical career, so you can only hear words of sympathy from him. But the third friend - Ilya Dronov, long and hopelessly in love with her - provides the girl with real and much-needed help. He also lives very modestly, and he does not have the necessary money. But he, like a real man, makes a decision and takes radical measures. Ilya sells his kidney to help her beloved woman and save her little son.
So, it would seem, it’s simple and easy to understand whose feeling was stronger and more frank. And all this can be seen in the series “Happy Ticket”. The actors and roles they play are so lively and real that sometimes it seems: each of them is familiar firsthand, someone from a neighboring house, someone is a work colleague, someone lives at the distance of just one stop.
Faithful husband and father
Ilya remains next to Lena even after Sasha was operated on. It was he who gave her the ticket, which became truly happy for both of them. From that moment, he was always with her and her children - two boys and a daughter, Julia, who was born in their union with Lena. It was thanks to him that Lena became a happy woman, it was thanks to him that Sasha recovered, and not a single soul knew about the terrible price that Ilya paid for his life.
This went on for twenty years. Children grew up, the house was built, the family even created its own travel company, known throughout the world. And the couple at the wedding of their eldest son, Bori continued to look at each other with love eyes, as on the day of their own wedding. Their children grew up as good people and the only thing that overshadowed the life of the younger Dronovs was the love of two brothers for one girl and the love of Julia in Boris.

But here Ilya gets sick - the second kidney gives some malfunction. His friend, surgeon Anatoly Teterin, promises him advice and treatment of the best doctors in Germany and takes him there. But still, at the most difficult moment in the life of Ilya, he betrays him. Terrible days are coming for Elena, and here her first husband Peter is still returning from abroad.

Since everything that happened on the screen spanned a period of more than twenty years, make-up artists did their best: initially they “young” the actors, and then they made them much older.
