One day a young journalist remains with him at night, and when he escorts her in the morning, he discovers a young man outside the door. It turns out to be his son Viktor, whose mother Gurov abandoned 20 years ago and went to Moscow to become an actor. In the conversation, it turns out that downstairs in the taxi is his grandson Vlad, whom Vitya left as a deposit.
Victor is a typical loser who considers himself a very popular psychologist in Bryansk and a specialist in the field of family relations. But, despite this, he himself needs the help of a specialist, since he does not succeed. He came to Moscow after his wife Anya. The girl fled to the capital in an attempt to arrange her career as an actress, because she could no longer endure life with Vitya. After all, he’s a sissy and at the age of 40 he still lives with her and obeys everything.
Victor and Vladik stay with Gurov for a couple of days. But for a number of ridiculous accidents, they remain to live with him. During their life together, different funny situations arise, since the father and son are completely different and are used to a different way of life. Pavel likes to drive women home and drink alcohol in the morning, and Vitya likes to live by the rules and arrange family councils on Sundays.
In the third season, Gurov loses his popularity, and he is no longer so willing to be invited to appear. He is changing his place of residence, now this is a house in the country. And most importantly, he finds out that he also has a son, Dima, who has adopted the character traits of his father. When Gurov was on tour in Ryazan 25 years ago, he had an affair with the girl Galya, after which her son Dmitry was born. Paul found out about the latter only now. The newfound son moves to live with Paul. And, thanks to his talent for finding “adventures,” Gurov adds problems.
