Beef heart is an offal, the benefits of which for human health are difficult to overestimate. Judge for yourself: it includes all the vitamins of group B, potassium, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus. This is one of the few products that contains almost all types of trace elements: iron, iodine, cobalt, manganese, copper, molybdenum, selenium, chromium and zinc.
The content of all these nutrients in 100 g of the product prepared for consumption covers half the daily needs of the human body. Although it is a low-calorie product (96 Kcal / 100 g), it is not worth abusing it, since it contains a high content of proteins and omega-6 fatty acids.

This dish will not only satisfy your hunger on the road, at work and at school, but will also serve as an original and delicious snack at the festive table.
The whole process of making pancakes with beef heart is short and consists of two small steps. The first is baking wrappers and preparing the filling. You can shorten this path even further and use ready-made frozen pancakes that are easily found on sale. Then the recipe for beef heart pancakes will be even easier.
Pancake dough
If you bake pancakes according to your own recipe, you should consider that the filling will be meaty and satisfying. Therefore, do not cook them thin and translucent - the thickness of the baking should be sufficient so that the tastes of the pancake and the toppings are combined equally.
If you donβt have your own pancake recipe, use the steps below. But first prepare the products:
- 1 liter of milk;
- 2 eggs;
- 2-3 cups of wheat flour;
- Β½ cup vegetable oil;
- some salt and sugar.
Warm milk until warm. In a deep bowl, crush the eggs with salt and sugar, pour half a serving of milk and add flour. While stirring, wait for the absence of lumps and pour in a little remaining milk to the consistency of liquid kefir.
For baking, use a wide-bottom pan to get large items and easily wrap the filling in them.
And, as mentioned above, do not bake thin pancakes. Otherwise, when wrapping, they may break, and the filling will fall out.
When removing from the pan, put the pancakes on top of each other in a stack, so they will be more elastic when folding.
Beef heart filling
To prepare the filler you will need such products:
- 500 g of boiled beef heart;
- 2-3 onion heads;
- one carrot;
- bunch of dill.
Cut the boiled beef heart into very thin strips, can be passed through a meat grinder. Chop the onion into small cubes, and grate the carrots on the large side of the grater. Spasser vegetables in vegetable oil and combine with the heart. Add finely chopped dill and your filling is almost ready. Leave it to soak for 20-30 minutes.
If desired, you can add finely chopped boiled chicken eggs, 2-3 pieces, or boiled rice.
Wrap the filling
To evenly distribute the meat filling, orient how much it will take for one pancake. To do this, divide it by the number of pancakes.
Spread the meat mixture in the middle with a spoon, tamp lightly, bend the bottom and side edges, roll up the tube.
Put the finished pancake on the dish with the edge of the wrapper down so that it does not turn around.
Beef heart pancakes can be eaten both hot and cold.
