Do you want to please your household with something tasty? Then you should make a sweet pilaf for them. This is done in minutes and from those products that are in every refrigerator.
So, you decided to cook sweet pilaf for the whole family. We fully approve your choice. Now you need to prepare the following products:
- 150 g butter;
- dried apricots, prunes, almonds and raisins (50 g each);
- half a glass of pomegranate juice;
- rice (it is best to take unpolished) - 1, 5 cups;
- 2 tbsp. l sugar;
- 1 carambol (if you did not find it in the store, then it's okay, you can do without it).
When all the ingredients are at hand, you can start cooking sweet pilaf. We take the indicated amount of rice and carefully rinse it with tap water. Then we find a medium-sized pan, fill it with water, fill the rice and boil it until half ready. Now we need a cauldron (it is in it that sweet pilaf with raisins is usually cooked). But if you donโt have it at home, then a pan will do. We have to melt 100 g of butter. We add rice to it later. All this is thoroughly mixed and tightly closed with a lid. Put the fire to a minimum. Stew the rice until the sweet pilaf is completely ready. Stir it constantly so that the rice does not stick to the cauldron and does not burn.
We take another pan and melt butter in it (the remaining 50 g). Add almonds, prunes, dried apricots and raisins in any order. Slightly fry them so that our sweet pilaf turns out to be tasty and fragrant.
In another pan, we will prepare a syrup consisting of natural pomegranate juice, granulated sugar and carambola. We bring this mixture to a boil, and then cook for another 5 minutes. In syrup, we must add the fried in butter fruit. All these ingredients are mixed well with each other. It remains to mix rice with fruit. That's all - the delicious sweet pilaf is ready.
Despite the fact that pilaf with fruits is cooked quickly enough, this process can be significantly accelerated. A modern electric appliance called a โslow cookerโ will come to your aid. You can make sweet pilaf there in a matter of minutes.
Of the products we need: onions, medium-sized carrots, rice, raisins and dried apricots. First we take dried apricots and raisins, thoroughly rinse under the tap and soak for a while. Next, proceed to the preparation of carrots and bulbs. Washed and peeled carrots are best grated, and onions cut into small cubes. In the slow cooker, select the "meat" mode. Now it remains to pour 1 tsp of vegetable (unrefined) oil.
Fry vegetables lightly. At the same time, we wash the rice (you can take steamed or long-grain). After washing, put it in the vegetables. Add water so that it covers rice with vegetables.
Again we turn to the multicooker and set the โriceโ mode on it. As for the cooking time, then the best option would be 10 minutes. Close our future pilaf tightly with a lid, carefully move the valve to the desired position and turn on the device. After 10 minutes, the pilaf will be completely ready. But do not immediately remove the cover after the beep . Let the rice be at least 20 minutes dark. You can set the multicooker to the heating mode. As you can see, this fragrant dish is prepared very quickly.
