For the hundredth time I’ve already been convinced that cooking in pots is very convenient, the dishes turn out delicious, they just melt in your mouth. In addition, the cooking process does not require constant monitoring. Therefore, today we will have potted chicken.
For the fifth dish, we need chicken meat (here is the choice for everyone, I like hips more, so I took 6 chicken thighs by the number of pots, you can use chicken wings or fillets), 6 medium potatoes (one potato for each pot), 3 large onions, sweet red pepper, salt and spices to taste (I have seasoning for chicken), 100 ml cream (medium fat - up to 22%), 50 grams of tomato sauce, 60 grams of butter, greens (preferably dill and parsley).
So that the chicken in the pots does not dry, it is necessary to pre-soak it in cold water for an hour. Next, rub the thighs with salt and spices. Wash the potatoes, peel and cut them into cubes. Onion finely chopped. At the bottom of the pot, lay one thigh, fill with potatoes and onions, pour cream, put pepper (cut into strips) and butter, add a little water and tomato sauce, salt and cover with a lid. Similarly, fill the remaining 5 pots. The main thing is not to pour a lot of water, otherwise soup will turn out. Baked chicken in pots for about an hour and a half. Sprinkle the finished dish with plenty of herbs. The table can be served directly in pots, it’s tastier. You can additionally prepare a vegetable salad if desired. Similarly, you can cook the chicken fillet in a pot.
In general, chicken refers to dietary meat. In its value, it, of course, is inferior to turkey meat, but still it is also a useful product. At the very least, chicken is superior in digestibility to beef and pork.
I want to offer another recipe - chicken in pots with vegetables. I give the ingredients per two servings. For cooking, we need 2 chicken legs, 2 eggplant, 1 medium-sized carrot, medium onion, 2 ripe tomatoes, a bunch of any herbs, green onions, tomato sauce, chicken spices, salt and a couple of garlic cloves.
We divide the ham into small pieces (you can directly with the bone), peel the eggplant, cut into cubes. Rub carrots on a coarse grater, finely chop the garlic and onion. We fry all these vegetables and meat until half cooked over medium heat, pour with tomato paste or sauce, salt and season with spices. Then we put them in pots, add a little boiled water and send to languish in the oven for an hour. Do not forget that the pots must be placed in a cold oven so that there is no sharp temperature drop. Scald the tomatoes with boiling water, remove the skin and wipe through a sieve. This tomato mix is mixed with green onions and the rest of the greens. 5 minutes before the readiness we take out the pots and pour the tomato mixture with herbs. That's all, the chicken with vegetables is ready. In this recipe, you can use any vegetables, it turns out well with young zucchini and broccoli. You can use ordinary cabbage.
Chicken meat can also be replaced with another type, for example, pork or beef. I think that the fish should turn out deliciously in pots, although I have never cooked it in this way.
Pot recipes are good because you don’t have to go around the stove for hours waiting for dinner, everything is simple - put all the ingredients in it, pour a little water and put it in the oven to bake.
