Inflamed lymph nodes

Even in ancient times, people knew that in addition to blood, there is another liquid in the human body - lymph, which is very similar in composition to blood plasma. It contains lymphatic vessels, lymphatic capillaries and lymph nodes.

When the lymph nodes are inflamed, we can talk about lymphadenitis. The reason for such inflammation can be the fact that the body is not able to fight pathogenic bacteria itself. This means that the patient's immunity is low or the infection is too strong. The matter can take a serious turn if, in the presence of inflammation of the lymph nodes, there is also pus. There is no way to do without surgical intervention.

If your lymph nodes become inflamed, the disease that lies in the area next to them may be to blame. If you notice that the nodes do not shrink, the tumors become more dense and do not pass, then the presence of malignant tumors is possible.

But we will not touch on such severe cases. So, if the lymph nodes are inflamed, first you need to determine whether the matter is in the nodes themselves or whether the disease affects other organs. There are several common signs by which you can find out if you need to treat lymph nodes. The presence of fever can be perceived as a symptom of inflammation of the nodes, as well as soreness of the lymph nodes and headaches. The lymph nodes themselves, of course, will also be enlarged. In addition, you will begin to feel a general malaise.

So, you found out that the lymph nodes are inflamed. You can try to get rid of it yourself.

If the lymph nodes are enlarged due to a cold, you can apply homeopathic drops, for example, lymphomyosis. If their increase is caused by an infection, ampicillin tablets should be taken three times a day.

Traditional medicine also offers many recipes for this ailment. You can take lavender flowers, currant leaf, elderberry flowers, wormwood (in equal proportions), mix all these components and chop. Pour the resulting powder with a liter of boiling water in a thermos and let the mass brew for a whole night. In the morning, strain and drink this liquid instead of tea.

You can also make pine syrup, for which it is better to take the upper branches of pine, you can use fir or spruce branches. If you have inflamed lymph nodes on your neck, then a chicory decoction helps. It should be brewed at the rate of twenty grams of chicory for two hundred milliliters of boiling water.

You can use raspberry tincture, for the preparation of which you need 250 g of raspberry root and half a kilogram of sugar. Spread sugar and raspberry roots in layers in a three-liter jar. Add boiling water (100 ml) to them and warm the jar in a water bath for about eight hours. Then put the jar in a dark place and insist the product for several days. Take an infusion of a large spoon once a day.

If your lymph nodes are inflamed, but all of the listed remedies are not to your liking, you can drink vitamin C - two hundred milligrams daily. If there is no effect, you can increase the dose to five hundred milligrams.

Another recipe involves the use of honey and lard. One hundred grams of goose or pork fat and one hundred grams of honey should be mixed. Add all this to a glass of milk, mix and take a large spoon.

You can still lubricate the lymph nodes with camphor oil. Vishnevsky’s ointment also helps (but this ointment has a very unpleasant smell, so you should not use it before going to visit or going to work).

If your lymph nodes are inflamed, then there is a list of procedures that you absolutely must not perform - you should not rub the knots with your hands, you can’t warm them up either (this can only lead to more inflammation), you should not do iodine nets, you need to be very careful about tanning.
