Until today, it is not known exactly how the Strelka group appeared. Some fans suggest that the group was created as a commercial project of wealthy people. Others believe that each participant, before getting into the team, won a large and complex competition. However, the official version of the appearance of the group is the one offered by RICE-LysS Corporation.
According to this version, in the summer of 1997, three producer friends had a rest in Turkey and drew attention to the karaoke bar where the girls sang. In the first round, three girls won, and in the next four more. All the girls sang quite beautifully and cleanly, so they were invited to all together to sing the common song of the Diva. At that very moment, the producers realized that they had witnessed the birth of a new singing collective. Then the friends decided to get acquainted with the girls and offer them cooperation. Thus, the group "Strelki" was created, the composition, last names whose participants after that quite often began to change.
Beginning of a singing career
Upon returning to the capital, the girls received a proposal for cooperation and, as a result, the first song “Passion” was recorded. After the first success, the girls received some money and recorded a few more songs. But after the formation of the group, the production company decided that the subject, composition and creative development of the girls were not interesting to them. However, at the same time, Strelka became interested in Gala Records, which entered into a contract with the girls to record three discs.

In the spring of 1997, Soyuz studio decided to organize a girl’s team and entrusted the creation of the project to Igor Seliverstov.
