Computer damage

It is difficult for a modern person to imagine his life without computers. They firmly entered our lives and took their place in all areas of activity. For some, a computer is an indispensable assistant in the workplace, for others, a guide to the virtual world where anyone can become anyone.

The harm to the computer is undeniable. It is unlikely that there will be those who disagree with this. What is the main threat the computer carries:

  1. Violation of individual body systems (muscle, musculoskeletal, circulatory and so on). This is due to the sedentary lifestyle that we lead. With the advent of personal computers, the activity of office workers decreased by four times. The culprit was the computer only indirectly. The main reason lies in the man himself, in his laziness and unwillingness to return to the real world.
  2. Visual impairment. Working for a long time at the computer, we focus on the monitor, which negatively affects the visual system.
  3. Electromagnetic radiation. This factor was called almost the first when society realized the harm of the computer and its effect on the body. Recently, the radiation level has been significantly reduced, various protective devices (glasses, screens, and so on) have appeared. Nevertheless, do not forget about the system unit and the back of the monitor.

Needless to say, many avid "gamers" can sit at the computer for days, forgetting to eat and sleep. It also causes considerable damage to our health.

The benefits and harms of computers have been studied for a long time. Despite all the negative consequences of using computers, humanity will no longer be able to abandon them. Thanks to them, we have significantly accelerated many technological processes. Even elementary accounting calculations are many times faster. Without leaving home, we can contact relatives and friends who are on the other side of the world. Moreover, you can not just write a letter, but also see them using the global Internet.

In order to reduce the harm to your computer, you must follow some rules:

  • if your work is connected with a computer and you spend the whole working day looking at the monitor, then come home and relax yourself;
  • try to move more, sign up for a fitness club or gym;
  • go on foot. This will help keep the body in good shape and relax tired eyes.

One way or another, an adult is aware of the danger and can control the time spent at the computer, his activity, and so on. This cannot be said of children. As a rule, these questions do not interest them. Computer damage for children should not be underestimated. In addition to the sight, children and adolescents lose their posture and physical development is inhibited. Communication with friends comes down to dry correspondence on social networks. As a result, getting older they are afraid to communicate and get acquainted with the opposite sex in real life. This leads to loneliness and low self-esteem.

Parents need to try to reduce the harm to the computer and help the child establish a life without it:

  1. First, with him, determine the period of time when he can play, work on the computer. Choose the optimal time when the child will not be busy with homework. You can in some way influence the behavior of your child, depriving him of the opportunity to play his favorite game for bad behavior or grades at school.
  2. Correctly adjust the contrast and brightness of the monitor. This will help reduce eye strain.
  3. Do regular eye exercises.
  4. The workplace should be well and properly lit. The monitor should not be exposed to direct sunlight. It is best if the child will look at him from top to bottom.
  5. Furniture (chair, desk) should correspond to the age and physical parameters of the child.
