Which of us does not like cabbage with garlic, pickled in various ways? It is perfect for any side dish, meat and even fish. Some housewives manage to stew it and make a filling for dumplings. There are many recipes for pickled cabbage with garlic. Consider a few of them.
Pickled Cabbage with Carrot and Garlic
To prepare it, we need:
- 1 head of medium-sized white cabbage;
- head of garlic;
- a couple of pieces of carrots;
- 13 pcs peppercorns;
- 3 pcs. bay leaves;
- ground red pepper (pinch);
Instant cabbage marinade:
- purified water;
- two tablespoons of salt;
- one tablespoon of sugar;
- one teaspoon of vinegar.
We start cooking cabbage with garlic, pickled in a quick way. Shred the cabbage. Carrots must be grated. At the bottom of the container, in which you will pickle cabbage, you need to lay the leaves of cabbage. On top of them lay pepper, bay leaf and garlic. Peel, wash and cut the garlic into several parts. Then spread the mixed cabbage with carrots.
To prepare the marinade, it is necessary to boil water, stir salt and sugar in it. Pour the cabbage with the marinade. Add vinegar. We put the entire contents of the container under oppression. To do this, just cover it with a plate on top and put a three-liter jar of water. After 4 hours, spicy and crisp cabbage is ready.
Gurian Pickled Cabbage
In order to prepare a dish, take:
- one white cabbage (approximately 2 kg in weight);
- at least two heads of garlic;
- carrots - 1 pc.;
- large beets - 1 pc.;
- one tablespoon of red ground pepper, you can replace the ground pods.
For the marinade you will need about one liter of water, one glass of sugar, a couple of tablespoons of salt, five pieces of bay leaves; up to 8 pcs. pepper peas, 1 tbsp. vinegar (preferably apple), half a glass of sunflower oil.
We start cooking. Cabbage must be cut into large thick pieces. So that the marinade does not soften them, but soaks them. Beets and carrots need to be cut into rings not less than 0.5 cm thick. We cut the garlic into thin slices. If we use capsicum, we cut it into small strips. We lay out all the components in a container and mix.
Getting to the marinade. Boil water. Dissolve all the spices in it. Let it boil for a few minutes. Turn off. Only then add vinegar and oil.
Mix everything and fill in the cabbage. After the marinade has cooled, we send the container to a cold place for five days.

Pickled Cabbage with Bell Pepper
Quick recipe. Such cabbage can be eaten after a day.
Essential Ingredients:
- white cabbage 1 pc.;
- 1 PC. red bell pepper (you can take pepper of any other color, but with red the dish will look more interesting);
- 2 medium-sized carrots;
- 1 fresh cucumber.
For this recipe you will need marinade for instant cabbage. Finely chop the cabbage. Pepper is also cut into strips. Grate carrots and cucumbers on a standard size grater. Mix all the ingredients carefully so that they do not choke and do not let the juice prematurely.
We spread them in a glass jar (already sterilized), but so that there is room for a marinade.
We prepare the marinade in a known manner. We boil water, dissolve salt and sugar in it. After we turn off the fire, add vinegar. Immediately fill it in a jar and cover it with a nylon cover. We wait until the marinade has cooled, and send the jar to the refrigerator for a day.
Garlic Cabbage Pickled with Ginger Juice
So, we take:
- cabbage;
- medium-sized carrots;
- one bell pepper;
- a few cloves of garlic;
- 100 g of ginger root.
For marinade you need:
- purified water - one and a half liters;
- five tablespoons of sugar;
- two tablespoons of salt;
- a few tablespoons of sunflower oil;
- 100 milliliters of apple cider vinegar;
- Bay leaf;
- pepper peas.
All ingredients except ginger, cut into thin strips. Carrots can be sliced. Peel the ginger root and grate it to let the juice go.
Put all the vegetables in a pan and mix. They do not need to be wrinkled.
Next, we prepare the marinade in the usual way. Dissolve all spices in boiling water. Boil them for several minutes and turn them off. Now add the vinegar and oil. Pour the marinade into a pan with vegetables. We put cabbage under oppression. After it cools down - in a cool place for a day.
