Plot

On the wedding night, Roxanne tries to kill the young spouse, but eventually submits to his power.
Alexander’s ambitions are growing. He decides to enlarge his kingdom several times and prepares a plan of conquest. Thebes, Greece, Athens fall like houses of cards, under the onslaught of his army and pass under the authority of the young king. But even this is not enough - he goes to India with his wife. Warriors were tired of endless battles and unrest began among them. A respite was needed, but Alexander had already outlined a plan for new campaigns. His old friend Cleetus is trying to reason with the king, but he stabs him in the heat of a quarrel.

But soon Hephaestion dies, and the king realizes that this is the work of the jealous Roxanne. Enraged, he rushes at the girl and tries to strangle her. She manages to say that she is expecting a child from him, and he leaves her alone. Very little time has passed, and Alexander himself is dying from an unknown disease.
