Founded in 1979, the House of Actor of Krasnoyarsk has become a cultural center for training seminars, theater festivals, creative and professional meetings. Here is the Krasnoyarsk branch of the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation. The administration and the creative team organize various theatrical events, and the mass holding of traditional holidays is firmly rooted and has become a custom in this institution.
But the main thing that attracts the townspeople here is a visit to the performances of a permanent troupe or entreprise theaters and touring groups. A full house in the House of Actors of Krasnoyarsk is a familiar thing. The multi-genre plays of Russian and foreign authors play here, however, the audience accepts comedies in the best way.
Repertoire
Participants in the performances of the Actor’s House in Krasnoyarsk are artists of the drama theater, the oldest in Krasnoyarsk, named after A. S. Pushkin, whom theater-goers often call Pushkin. The game of the team always remains a vivid event in the memory of the audience.
“Dreams Come True”, a good, with a graceful humor play about love, the audience takes a standing ovation and standing applauds the artists. And in the performance “Boeing Boeing,” the Pushkinites force the audience to laugh uncontrollably, to tears, and by their performance they make them want to visit the play again.
In the production of Sergei Selemenev “My brother-in-law stole a firewood car” based on the stories of V. M. Shukshin star cast is involved. The virtuoso play of the performers seems to immerse the viewer in the original spirit of the Russian village, in the life of its inhabitants with a simple leisurely speech and characteristic humor. The performance remains one of the best in the repertoire of the House of Actors of Krasnoyarsk.
In addition to those mentioned, at least six more permanent plays are now presented. The actor’s house also became the venue for the wonderful production of “Separate Theater” by Andrei Pashnin “Intimate Life”. Each performance of this theater invariably delights the audience. Unfortunately, Barcelona did not go out for some time, an excellent comedy by Ray Cooney performed by the Pushkin team, which did not leave the stage for a long time. Perhaps she will reappear in the repertoire, as she was perfectly received by the audience.
Soulful place
During the performances between the performers and the audience of the actor’s house, a certain spiritual relationship arises, and the audience, not noticing it, become participants in the action. This is greatly facilitated by the small area of the hall and theatrical places located close to the stage. It is this genuine warmth inherent in the House of the actor of Krasnoyarsk that attracts many people here. Everything here is with soul, from the heart: and a small gallery in the lobby, and a cozy buffet with delicious coffee, and some kind of familiar, almost homely atmosphere.
Pessimistic note
But a decent size fly in the ointment is still there. The interior of the actor’s house has long been in need of repair. The deplorable state of the auditorium is depressing, and you can only imagine what conditions are provided to the actors behind the scenes.
It is possible that a small number of visual places when deducting salaries and other expenses cannot provide an amount sufficient for repairs. And is it really not even saving the sale of extra tickets with the substitution of additional chairs (and even then sometimes not enough), which create a close cluster in the hall? If so, then we can only hope for the merciful alms of the city administration. Or, recalling the history of Russian philanthropy, when the level of donations reflected the scale of the state, a generous patron would suddenly respond, ready to lay the necessary funds for repairs on the altar of art.
