Pork in sour cream, cooked in the oven, is an incredibly aromatic, hearty, beautiful, delicate dish, which, moreover, can be made quickly! No gourmet products are needed for this. All ingredients are affordable and simple.
Ingredients
To cook pork in sour cream in the oven you will need such components:
- onions - 4 pieces;
- pork pulp - 0.8 kg;
- low-fat sour cream - 300 grams;
- flour - 1 tbsp;
- hard cheese - 200 grams;
- a pinch of nutmeg, salt and black pepper;
- vegetable oil.
From such a quantity of products it will turn out to prepare a dish that is enough for about 4-6 servings. And it is highly recommended that you take the pork tenderloin. Then the dish will turn out to be especially tasty and tender. If you canβt find her, then you can replace the boneless loin. However, the most important thing is that the meat should not have any fatty layers or veins.
Meat preparation
Fresh pork must be cut into slices, the thickness of each of which should not exceed one centimeter. If you want and time, you can also beat them off. It is allowed to safely skip this point if you managed to find a loin of a young pig or tender tenderloin.
Then each piece must be fried on both sides with a small amount of vegetable oil. The fire should be slightly less than average. When the pieces are slightly browned, you can remove them. There is no goal to cook the meat completely - just subject it to a small heat treatment.
By the way, juice flowing from pork does not need to be poured. Better add it to the sauce. This will make the taste of the dish even more intense.
Cooking
According to the recipe for pork with sour cream, then the sequence of actions is as follows:
- Peel and chop the onions in medium sized rings. Send it to the pan. Lightly add salt and simmer until it is transparent.
- Make the sauce. Fry flour a little in a dry frying pan. When it becomes golden, pour sour cream, previously diluted with water (100 ml). To avoid the formation of lumps, you must constantly stir the sauce. At the end, add nutmeg, salt and pepper. Stir and boil for another 2-3 minutes. Then you can remove from the fire.
- Pour the baking sheet properly with vegetable oil.
- Put pieces of meat, sprinkle with pepper and salt.
- Spread the fried onions on top.
- Pour in cooled sour cream sauce.
- Send the baking sheet to the oven preheated to 190 Β° C. Bake for 20-30 minutes. If this is pork tenderloin, then it will cook faster - in about 10 minutes.
- When the indicated time comes to an end, the pan must be removed. Sprinkle grated cheese over the almost finished pork quickly and evenly and put back into the oven. Keep no more than 5 minutes.
When the cheese melts and forms an appetizing golden brown crust, the pork in sour cream can be removed. Allow a little time to cool and then serve.
Sour cream stewed pork
If you do not want to bake meat, you can make it in a stewpan. It will turn out no worse. To cook pork in sour cream according to this recipe you will need:
- tenderloin - 0.7 kg;
- garlic - 3 cloves;
- onions - 0.2 kg;
- flour - 50 grams;
- sour cream - 0.2 kg;
- salt and pepper to taste;
- frying oil.
The actions are simple. Rinse the meat thoroughly and cut into small pieces, and chop the onion in half rings. Then make a sauce of crushed garlic, pepper, salt and sour cream. Mix this mass with flour fried in a dry pan.
Fry the meat in oil until half cooked. Then add the onion and cook for another 10 minutes, not forgetting to stir. After the time has passed, transfer this mass to the stewpan and pour in such an amount of water that it covers it whole.
After half an hour, pour the sauce into the meat, from which a decent amount of liquid has already evaporated. Stir and simmer another 10 minutes. Then you need to turn off the fire and let it brew for another hour. Before serving, it is recommended to sprinkle with chopped herbs.
