The future actor saw the light in the Ukrainian city of Zaporozhye on May 20, 1967. His parents were people respected in the city: his father, Georgy Pavlovich, worked at the Ministry of Radio Industry, and his mother, Svetlana Vasilievna, worked in the hospital as a radiologist. Few people know that the real name of the actor is Yuri, so his parents called him in honor of the first Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. Gosha's father even called the selection committee with a request not to accept his son into the ranks of students. Before Kutsenko submitted the documents to MIREA, he was given an ultimatum - to pass all the exams of the session with excellent marks. And he did it, it was up to the little thing to do.
Before the selection committee, Gosh read poetry of Yesenin. Ukrainian accent and burr did not add to his attractiveness. One of the commissioners was so amused by the peculiarity of his speech that he asked several times about his name Kutsenko. Then instead of “Ughiy” the guy unexpectedly answered: “Gosh.
