2009 brought the audience the premiere of an excellent comedy. An entertaining film was called "High Security Vacations." Actors, led by director Igor Zaitsev, undertook to transfer the plot of the novel of the same name by Andrey Kivinov from book pages to textured film reality.
Extraordinary plot
This comedy is far from cliched stories about female friendships, club parties or casino parties. The plot originates, surprisingly, in prison. Viktor Sumarokov and Evgeny Koltsov are serving their sentences together. The difference between them is that Sumarokov is a seasoned prisoner, whom cellmates are afraid of, and Koltsov goes to jail unjustly and straight from the police post.
Are so different people capable of becoming comrades? And how. Eugene Koltsov barely fights off the aggressive attacks of prisoners who learned about his profession. He realizes that he’s so close to death, and asks his special forces friend to organize an escape in the midst of a prison brawl. Wounded in the course of a fierce fight Sumarokova Koltsov decides to take for the company. Undercover fugitives are brought to a children's camp, where they become counselors. Will they be able to cope with the horde of kids and conquer the female half of their colleagues?
Central actors of the film "High Security Vacations"
The main roles of the comedy went to Dmitry Dyuzhev and Sergey Bezrukov. Together, they already had a chance to star in the cult TV series The Brigade. That is why it was especially interesting to watch their duet in the comedy "High Security Vacations." The actors Dyuzhev and Bezrukov are very friendly in real life, so it was a pleasure to work together again. A particularly colorful role went to Sergei, because he had to portray a real recidivist. The talent of deep transformation helped Bezrukov here too - he got accustomed to the role entrusted to him, plausibly copying prison habits and specific jargon.
Not without comedy and without cute female images. The role of counselor, who conquered the mossy heart of Sumarokov, who had forgotten his life according to human, not arrested, concepts, was played by Alyona Babenko ("Driver for Vera", "Indy"). It was very funny to watch the characters come together, experiencing mutual sympathy.

The actors who proved themselves on a positive side flashed in the film for a long time: the master Vladimir Menshov, the legendary Lyudmila Polyakova, Roman Madyanov, Kirill Pletnev, Alexey Kravchenko and others. There was a place in the episode for the screenwriter of the film, Andrei Kivinov.
Public reaction
The film was one of the hits of film distribution, and fixed on the leading position almost immediately. The first two weeks of the show brought the creators $ 15 million with a budget of 5 million. Final fees amounted to as much as 17 million, which is a record indicator against the background of the rest of the paintings, not only in 2009, but also in the early years.
What is the secret of such tremendous success? The audience could not help but approve of really funny jokes, sound camera work and the good atmosphere of the film "High Security Vacations." Actors Sergei Bezrukov and Dmitry Dyuzhev, who are favorites of the public, also fueled interest in the film. An unobtrusive, but very soulful soundtrack performed by the original Russian band Lube, embodying the original heartiness of the Russian person, also adorned the screen action.
The work of the comedy team, done in good conscience and not in haste, found an award in the person of satisfied contemplators. From time to time, especially on holidays , the movie is broadcast on Channel One, and the air gathers the whole family at the screen. No wonder Sergei Bezrukov called the picture truly family-friendly and evoking an emotional response. “The most important thing,” said the actor, “is that a human story is emerging here.”
