Epilepsy: attack and treatment

Nobody wants to be sick, but as all-knowing statistics say, there are practically no absolutely healthy people in the world. Unfortunately. Often one of the illnesses hidden for the time being is epilepsy, the attack of which is extremely difficult to predict. But that is not all. Often, neither the epileptics themselves, nor their loved ones know about this diagnosis. For example, a seizure may occur in 30 years. This is an insidious disease. It can nap, lurk in the brain, but under certain circumstances, say, excitement or a nervous breakdown, it will certainly make itself felt.

Sometimes a person may be an epileptic, but seizures occur once every several years or may subside for decades, but the diagnosis in this case is not removed.
So, what is epilepsy and how often does it occur?

In practice, epilepsy is considered mainly a male disease, as it is more common in the stronger sex. Doctors have learned to identify foci in the brain with increased activity, that is, epilepsy, seizures and their frequency are directly related to the activity of these parts of the brain. This disease does not occur so often, however, as mentioned above, due to the secrecy of the disease, statistics do not take into account all who are actually epileptic.

Whether epilepsy is treated is the very first question that people who are affected by an illness ask.

Alas, medicine, although it does not stand still, but never a single doctor will give you a guarantee that epilepsy will be cured. It can be forced to go into an inactive phase, but the risk that a seizure begins will always be. And here, more than ever, a comparison with a volcano is suitable. He can doze for tens and hundreds of years. People calm down, equip their homes in the immediate vicinity and live a normal life. And then, in one day everything collapses, trouble comes unexpectedly. And people cannot make a volcano harmless, they can only prevent its eruption by carefully observing. The same thing is epilepsy, an attack of which can happen at any moment.

In addition to medications that suppress foci of epilepsy in the brain, it is recommended to take anticonvulsants.

By the way, did you know that in addition to medicines, you can and should be treated with folk remedies using herbs? Some, however, are skeptical of this method of treatment, but practice shows that as an additional tool in treatment, it is very effective.

Especially good in the treatment of valerian, hawthorn, St. John's wort, coltsfoot, hops, plantain and wormwood. Moreover, it is advisable to collect them all, and not to take them one at a time.

It is best to buy in a pharmacy and prepare such an infusion: take a couple of tablespoons of this collection and pour boiling water. Just do not take cool boiling water, but it is better to bring it to a temperature of 80 degrees. After that, leave to brew in a warm place for several hours. About three or four hours will be enough. Then take 60-70 ml orally several times a day. It is advisable to take half an hour before meals or an hour after.

Epilepsy, the attack of which we are trying so hard to prevent, recedes with complex treatment - combine official and alternative medicine. But be sure to notify the attending physician that you are taking certain decoctions. It is best to consult with a homeopath.

There is another collection, which is believed to have a good effect. You need to buy in a pharmacy a collection of celandine, rosemary, violets, valerian, tansy, linden and oregano. In the same way as the first broth, brew uncooked boiling water and leave overnight. You can use a thermos for these purposes or simply wrap the vessel with a warm blanket and leave it in a warm place. Take several times a day (usually advised three times), before eating for half an hour. The course of such adjuvant therapy is 3 or 4 weeks.

The main thing is that you can overcome epilepsy by believing in yourself and feeling the support of loved ones. Let not get rid of, but to silence the attacks forever for everyone.
