The main thing is that it leaves no one indifferent. And this is a huge merit of her as an artist. After all, even provoking heated discussion with your work is not an easy task. However, the artist is not at all upset by the negative reviews; she continues to create the boring framework established by public opinion without regard to them. The images
Anna's characters are very diverse. But they share common features. They are like fairy-tale heroes, kind and sincere, original and expressive. Love, fidelity, the warmth of the hearth, faith in miracles and a craving for adventure - these are what Anna Silivonchik most often sings in his paintings. The artist seeks to emphasize the inner beauty of the heroes, and not their external data at all. And that gives them even more charm.
Looking at the artistโs paintings, we admire the children and lovers, people-animals, people-birds and people-angels. Often mythological creatures also look at us from paintings: unicorns, dragons, sirens, lions ... Annaโs unreal and peculiar world is inhabited by amazing types in which living characters can be seen. The world of her paintings is a world of fairy tales and legends of peoples from all over the Earth. This is a dream come true and come true fantasies. These are dreams that do not end with awakening.
Pictures of Anna Silivonchik make us think about simple and eternal human values: happiness, joy, love, the birth of a new life. They make you think about the unshakable laws of nature. But the most important thing in them for both the artist and his viewer is the integrity of the world and the unbreakable connection that exists between all its elements.
Directions in creativity
Of course, Anna pays the most attention to paintings. Most of them are painted in oil and acrylic on canvas. But there are among her works completely unusual ones: engravings, panels, installations. We can see the unique creations that Anna Silivonchik creates. Pictures painted by the master often become subjects for postcards, calendars, textiles.
Anna uses not only canvas, but also a wide variety of materials: feathers, pieces of cloth, textile patches, crumpled paper, tablets and even newspapers. Her work goes far beyond classical painting.
Inspirational
The artist draws inspiration from fairy tales of different nations. That is why her paintings are like dreams come true and dreams come true. In search of plots for her works, as well as formal means of solving them, the artist turns to archaic cultural strata, while maintaining an invisible but strong connection with the art of the XX-XXI century.
The aesthetic landmarks of the artist echo the fantastic realism of Chagall, the naive and touching art of the primitivists of the beginning of the last century, and, of course, folklore and folk arts and crafts.
Book
It is not in vain that talented people are talented in everything. Anna Silivonchik - artist, illustrator, decorator, and even a poet in addition. She writes touching and naive poems, largely reminiscent of her paintings.
And Anna Silivonchik creates pictures for children's books. One of the most famous of them is dedicated to Belarusian folklore.
Unusual
Perhaps the most sensational work of Anna can be considered a puppet pair "Adam and Adam's rib." It was created for the international competition Pandora Platinum 2016 and became its laureate in the nomination "Doll from traditional materials".
The work cannot be called unambiguous. And the point is not only that the growth of dolls is approximately equal to human. For some, it causes a surge of hypocrisy, and someone is completely delighted. This work does not leave anyone indifferent, and is this not the highest goal of any artist? Anna Silivonchik does not believe that โAdam and the Ribโ occupy a separate position in her work. The meaning of this work is the same as always - it is about love and tenderness, sincerity and willingness to open up to the end. In it, the artist sings the same eternal values.
