Pharmaceutical drug Papazol. Instructions for use

The pharmaceutical preparation “Papazol” refers to the instructions for use in the clinical and pharmacological groups of antihypertensive drugs, antispasmodics and myotropic antispasmodics. Thus, this medication produces an antispasmodic, hypotensive and vasodilating effect.

The drug is available in the form of tablets (white or grayish, slight inclusions are allowed), distributed in cardboard packs of ten pieces each.

The composition of the drug is represented by papaverine (0.03 grams in each tablet) and imidazole derivative - bendazole (a similar amount - 0.03 g / tab.). The first component is able to block intracellular phosphodiesterase and creatine phosphokinase of vascular smooth muscles, cause the accumulation of cyclic adenosine monophosphate, and exert a vasodilator effect. Bendazole affects the smooth muscles of the vascular walls due to the effect on the imidazole receptors. This substance also contributes to an active reduction in blood pressure and the content of free calcium in smooth muscles.

An auxiliary component is potato starch, calcium stearate, milk sugar.
