One of the most interesting characters in the manga and anime “Bleach” is Izuru Kira. Against the backdrop of active and energetic companions, this hero stands out for his melancholy character. He is sensitive and timid, devoted to friends, but also true to his duty and captain. This is far from the main character, however, he played a role in the implementation of Aizen's plan.
Appearance and character
Kira Izuru is a blue-eyed blond. A light long bangs closes the left eye, the rest of the hair is parted. Kira is a thin and graceful young man. His height is 173 cm, and weight - 56 kg. The character wears a standard uniform with shinigami, on his shoulder is fixed the chevron of the lieutenant of the third detachment. In school years, he wore a short hairstyle.
Kira is a rather closed and gloomy shinigami, and therefore it is difficult for him to communicate with others. You may get the feeling that he is indifferent to the rest and is not interested in anything around him, but this is not so. Izuru is devoted to his friends, in particular, is friends with Momo Hinamori. At the same time, Kira is a faithful warrior of Gotheus 13: without hesitation, carries out any orders of the authorities, protects her captain even from a close friend. Kira does not like battles, but if necessary, he can prove himself as a ruthless warrior, who does not even touch the pleas for mercy of his opponent.
Abilities
Izuru is fluent in Kido. His zampacto bears the name Wabiske (apology). Kira activates him with the phrase: "Raise your head, Wabiske." This zampacto is able to double the weight of everything it touches. He can double the weight of the opponent’s gun until he loses the ability to hold him and falls to his knees. The blade is bent twice at an angle of 90 degrees, forming a kind of hook in order to demolish the heads of fallen enemies.
Biography
Kira Izuru is one of those born in the Society of Souls, and therefore it can be attributed to the category of aristocracy. Kira's parents died when he was very young. Kira went to school with shinigami with good grades. During training, he was considered one of the best students. During his service in Gotea 13 Kira managed to visit the fifth and fourth detachments. After becoming captain, Ichimaru Gin appointed Kira a lieutenant in the third squad.
During the incident with the assassination of Captain Aizen, Kira became a hostage to the manipulations of Ichimaru Gin, as a result of which he involuntarily helped the captains-traitors to escape to Ueko Mundo. He was taken into custody, but as a result of the investigation he was found not guilty, and therefore returned to his place, in the absence of the captain, temporarily leading the third detachment. After defeating Aizen, Kira became a lieutenant under Captain Rojuro Otoribashi.
Thus, Kira Izuru is a capable and devoted Shinigami to the Soul Society. His zampakto possesses quite terrifying abilities, but Kira himself is in no hurry to rush headlong into the battle. He is always weighed, not impulsive and calm.
