The drug "Dalacin" is a representative of the antibiotics of the lincosamide group. It has a bacteriostatic, inhibitory effect on strains of microorganisms that are sensitive to it. At higher concentrations, it is active against anaerobic bacteria that develop without access of air, and aerobic bacteria that develop only in the presence of air in their environment, including streptococci, mycoplasmas, staphylococci, etc.
It is used in gynecology for local treatment of mucous membranes and skin infections. Available for external use in the form of a gel, vaginal suppositories and cream.
