The basis of the Panzinorm preparation is a group of enzymes secreted by the pancreas, which is represented by lipase, amylase and protease. These substances are intended by nature to digest fats, beks and carbohydrates in the gastrointestinal tract. This drug is a combination substitute for pancreatin.
"Panzinorm," the instruction indicates, compensates for the insufficient production of enzymes by the pancreas, accelerates the breakdown of complex molecules into simple forms, and eliminates digestive disorders. The capsule dissolves in the stomach. The pancreatin granules located in it are protected by a special shell from an acidic environment, they, together with the gastric contents, are transported to the duodenum, where the pH is 5.5. Enzymes are released there and provide normal physiological digestion.
"Panzinorm," the instruction indicates, acts comprehensively. Lipase breaks down fats into fatty acids and glycerol to make them digestible. In the same way, lipase reacts with fat-soluble vitamins. Amylase converts carbohydrates to dextrins, decomposes them into a glucose molecule. Protease reacts with proteins, ensures their cleavage into simpler substances that are easily absorbed in the intestine.
"Pancreatin" significantly alleviates the condition of patients with chronic pancreatitis, because the protease, which is part of the drug, reduces the secretory function of the pancreas.
"Panzinorm", instruction for indications
"Pancreatin" is prescribed for chronic pancreatic insufficiency of various origins:
with established chronic pancreatitis;
in conditions of patients after surgery, during which a gastrointestinal anastomosis is applied;
with a diagnosis of cystic fibrosis;
with blockage of the bile ducts.
"Panzinorm," the instruction indicates, is prescribed to accelerate the movement of food through the intestines:
with liver diseases;
with dyspepsia;
when eating fatty or coarse foods.
Before carrying out x-ray and ultrasound studies, the use of the drug allows you to get rid of the gases accumulated in the intestine.
"Pancreatin" is used for flatulence.
The doctor independently determines the dose of Pancreatin individually. The Panzinorm medicine is dosed, based on the patientโs condition, pancreas function, and diet.
Contraindications
The drug is not prescribed:
with increased sensitivity to any component that is part of the drug,
in acute pancreatitis
with exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis.
"Panzinorm", instructions for side effects
In clinical studies, an allergic rash or itching has rarely been observed.
In isolated cases, a violation of the function of the bronchi was detected.
Taking large doses of Panzinorm may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea.
If Panzinorm tablets are taken in high doses by patients with cystic fibrosis, for example, the amount of lipase exceeds 10,000 units / kg / day, narrowing of the lumen of the colon, impaired function of the ileocecal intestine, and colitis may occur.
Notes on the use of Panzinorm
Patients whose condition after taking the drug causes suspicion of obstruction of the colon, it is recommended to examine to exclude fibrosing colonopathy.
There are no clinical data on the use of pancreatic enzymes by pregnant women and nursing mothers. Therefore, treatment with Panzinorm is prescribed for pregnant and breastfeeding women according to serious indications and is carried out under the supervision of a doctor.
"Pancreatin" does not affect the quality of transport control, the work with mechanical devices.
For children, the drug is prescribed taking into account the severity of the disease and diet.
