Pilaf, pastries, soups - far from a complete list of dishes that can be prepared in it. The owners of this new product are trying to maximize its capabilities. That is why they so often ask the question: "How to cook pilaf in a slow cooker?".

For cooking you will need: 300 gr. chicken, onion, a glass of rice, carrots two glasses of water. Chicken fillet is cut into cubes, salt, pepper and spread on the bottom of the bowl in a slow cooker. From above, the meat is covered with washed rice and slightly salted. Finely chop the onion, chop the carrots on a grater, then spread the vegetables on top of the rice, fill in a special seasoning, add a couple of glasses of water. If the crock-pot is small in size, 3-3.5 liters, you can take half as much food. The meat is washed and cut into pieces. The rice is washed and soaked for a quarter of an hour. Onions and carrots are peeled and diced, mixed with pieces of meat and transferred to a slow cooker. Add vegetable oil, mix, close and turn on the โ€œBakingโ€ mode for 20 minutes. Instead of a slow cooker, you can use a regular frying pan. Fried vegetables and meat are sprinkled with spices and rice, salted, washed with garlic cloves placed on top of it, the slow cooker is closed and the appropriate mode is turned on. The prepared dish is mixed before serving.

Pilaf in a slow cooker with pork

To prepare this delicious dish you need to take: 600 grams of pork tenderloin, 4 cloves of garlic, 2 glasses of rice (take glasses from the slow cooker), a couple of onions, 2 large carrots, spices for pilaf, a teaspoon of barberry berries (if they are not included in the set of spices ) and 2 tbsp. tablespoons of tomato paste. The meat is cut into 2-3 cm cubes. The peeled onion is cut into half rings, and the washed and peeled carrots are cut into thin strips. Vegetables are put in a slow cooker, add a tablespoon of butter and set the mode of "Baking". About thirty minutes later, the vegetables are taken out. Put meat at the bottom of the multicooker, fry it for twenty minutes in the same mode, cover it with vegetables, salt, pepper, add tomato paste. Washed rice, garlic cloves, seasoning, barberry. Add 4 cups (from the slow cooker) of water. The โ€œPilafโ€ mode is turned on, and when the signal sounds, the rice and meat are taken out, mixed and laid out on plates.

Of course, in order to save time, the meat may not be fried before cooking, but in this case there is a chance that the pieces will turn out to be overdried.
