In early 1959, Budimir Metalnikov wrote the script "Alien Love". His other works of this period - "Father's House", "Simple History" - were favorably received by filmmakers. "Another's love" at the Film Studio. Gorky refused to put. Fortunately, we managed to conclude a contract at Mosfilm. The film received, however, another name - "Aleshkina love." The actors and roles of the film, shot according to the script of Metalnikov, are presented in the article.
From the history of creation
The script has undergone repeated revisions. The film was entrusted to shoot George Shchukin and Semyon Tumanov. In April 1960, Metalnikov presented the final version to the members of the artistic council. Film masters appreciated the work of the screenwriter, but demanded that some scenes be removed, for example, one in which the main character is mercilessly beaten by a less fortunate opponent. Metalnikov refused to make changes, arguing that the characters' characters could not be fully disclosed without such episodes. Not without difficulty, the scriptwriter was able to win this dispute.
Lyrical hero
It was not easy to select actors for the roles in the film "Aleshkina Love". The directors focused on the Mosfilm artists. However, in the capital's film studio there was no suitable candidate for the main role in the film "Aleshkina Love". Actors began to search in the filing cabinets of theatrical universities of the country.
In May, the artists were identified for all roles except the main one. The following applicants were represented at the artistic council: L. Kuravlev, A. Kozhevnikov, A. Kuznetsov. However, none of them, according to members of the commission, was suitable for the role of the main character in the film "Aleshkina Love". Actor Leonid Bykov was approved when filming had already begun. By that time, he was known for such films as Volunteers, Maxim Perepelitsa, My Dear Man, Tiger Tamer. By the way, it was not easy to convince Bykov to star in the film "Aleshkina Love". The actor did not see himself in the image of a romantic hero. As you know, the directors managed to persuade him.
main character
Several actors have auditioned for the role of Zina, the main character: L. Gurchenko, I. Izvitskaya, L. Shlyakhtur, T. Witchenko, A. Zavyalova. Approved the latter. Alexandra Zavyalova played the first role in the movie, being a first-year student. She studied well, and her debut work caused a positive assessment by critics. Nevertheless, after graduation, the young actress was sent far from Moscow - to the Brest Drama Theater. For several years, Zavyalova refused to appear, although there were many proposals. In 1959, she agreed to a role in the film "People on the Bridge", and then played in two more films. One of them is Aleshkina’s love.
Actors (supporting roles)
Alexander Lebedev, Yuri Belov and Radner Muratov auditioned for the role of Arkady. The choice fell in favor of Belov. Nonna Mordyukova could play in the film. But Olga Khorkova was approved for the role of Lisa.
The directors who made this film were new to cinema in the early sixties. Nevertheless, they were able to quickly create a working atmosphere on the set. At the same time, there was no division into "debutants" and "stars". Other actors in the film "Aleshkina Love": Alexey Gribov, Ivan Savkin, Alexey Zaitsev, Vladimir Gulyaev, Boris Balakin, Ivan Ryzhov.
Interesting Facts
The shooting was supposed to take place in the vicinity of the city of Kerch and on the construction sites of the future Zelenograd. But at the last moment, for unknown reasons, the plans changed. Filming moved to Feodosia.
The film "Aleshkina Love" might never have been released. Critics in this uncomplicated story saw many ideological flaws. A letter compiled by a group of officials was sent to the then Minister of Culture with a request to ban the film in which Soviet youth is not presented in the best light. Furtseva, after reading the message, looked at the film and found nothing seditious in it. The premiere of "Aleshkina love" took place in the autumn of 1960.
