  • sweet pepper - 2 kg;

  • chili pepper - 3-4 pcs. (depending on your preference);
  • vegetable oil - 1.5 cups (if you do not like a very oily product, you can reduce the proposed amount);
  • garlic - head;
  • salt, sugar.

Recipe

We wash and peel all vegetables. We cut bell pepper in half rings, eggplant in large cubes. We spread the vegetables in a pan, mix and pour oil. We wait for boiling, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes. While our Turkish eggplants (photo below) are cooked, put tomatoes, garlic, washed and peeled chili peppers in a blender bowl or a meat grinder. We grind everything and pour our dish with the resulting mixture, simmer another 25 minutes. Salt and add sugar to taste.
