Cooking pasta nests

Pasta nests are spaghetti twisted in the shape of a ring. Outwardly, they are very similar to ordinary bird nests, and therefore received such a cute name. You can buy them at any grocery store.

So, how to cook pasta nests? In the process of creating such a dish there is absolutely no difficulty. To do this, it will be enough to stuff them with filling, season with sauce and leave to bake in the oven. If you are going to cook pasta nests, you can choose a wide variety of products as a filling. The most common option is ordinary ground beef or pork. In addition, they can be stuffed, for example, with mushrooms or shrimp. Below are recipes to help prepare pasta nests with various fillings for every taste.

Minced pasta nests

List of required ingredients:

  • packing pasta nests (6-7 pieces);
  • minced meat - 300 g;
  • hard cheese - 100 g;
  • 1 pc onion;
  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup;
  • 2 or 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • salt to taste.
  1. First you need to boil the nests. To do this, take a pot of water, bring to a boil and carefully place the pasta there. It is important not to bring them to a state of soft preparedness, otherwise they may boil down and lose shape.
  2. Carefully remove the nests from the pasta using a slotted spoon and lay them on a baking sheet, which is pre-lubricated with vegetable oil.
  3. Stuffing minced meat in any container, add finely chopped onions, salt to taste to it. Mix everything thoroughly.
  4. In the nests laid on the baking sheet, make a small recess and put the already prepared stuffing there. Rub the cheese on top.
  5. Mix mayonnaise and ketchup, dilute with water. Water the resulting sauce with nests with minced meat.
  6. We put in the oven and cook at a temperature of about 180 degrees for a period of 15 to 20 minutes, until fully cooked.

Mushroom Pasta Nests

List of required ingredients:

  • packing pasta nests (6-7 pieces);
  • minced meat - 200 grams;
  • 1 piece of onion;
  • champignons - 150 g;
  • ground black pepper;
  • sprigs of greenery;
  • salt to taste.
  1. We cook the nests in the same way as in the first recipe. Be sure to ensure that they do not lose their handicap.
  2. We thoroughly wash the mushrooms in water and finely chop them. Fry them a little in a pan.
  3. We cut onions, put it in mushrooms and continue to fry all this.
  4. Add minced meat, pepper and salt to taste. On low heat, bring the resulting mixture to readiness.
  5. Put the boiled nests on a baking sheet. In the center of them we spread the obtained stuffing with mushrooms.
  6. We put in the oven, preheated to a mark of 180 degrees, and bake for 15 minutes. After that, the finished dish can be sprinkled with greens on top.

Shrimp pasta nests

List of required ingredients:

  • packing pasta nests (6-7 pieces);
  • shrimp - 300 g;
  • garlic - 3 medium sized cloves;
  • cream - 100 ml;
  • milk - 100 ml;
  • hard cheese - 100 g;
  • flour - 2 tbsp;
  • pepper and salt to taste.
  • sprigs of greenery;
  1. We cook directly the nests themselves according to the already known scheme. We put them on a baking sheet, pre-oiled.
  2. Fry the garlic in a pan for a couple of minutes.
  3. Pour shrimp with boiling water and thoroughly clean. Stew the heads in a pan with garlic until juice appears. While the meat is removed to the side.
  4. After the heads have given juice, take them out of the pan and add the previously cooked meat there. Salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Lightly fry the shrimp in a pan, add milk and cream to them. Pour flour, herbs and mix thoroughly. Continue to simmer in a pan until the mixture thickens.
  6. Pour the resulting shrimp sauce into ready-made nests and sprinkle with grated cheese on top.
  7. Cook in the oven for 10 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
