The medication "Totem" (in ampoules) is referred to as a combination type of drug. The medicine contains the essential trace elements necessary to maintain the blood formation process. Active ingredients: gluconates of copper, manganese and iron. The last component, being one of the main components of hemoglobin, iron-containing enzymes, myoglobin, performs important tasks: oxygen transport, stimulation of erythropoiesis. The substance is involved in the process of oxidative metabolism. Manganese and copper, which contribute to the absorption of iron and the synthesis of hemoglobin, are part of the enzyme systems, which, in turn, take part in the main processes of the redox type in the human body. As a rule, iron salts are only partially absorbed (when taken orally by 20-30%). Against the background of a decrease in the reserves of this component in the body, the degree of absorption increases. Basically, absorption is carried out in the duodenum and small intestine. When taking manganese, copper and iron in the complex, the disorder in the assimilation of Fe, which is likely when taken separately, is prevented.

Mode of application
