There are not many really great musicians on the Russian rock scene who were able to carry their art through many years. You need to have a lot of talent in order to be able to touch the hearts of listeners, make them think about the lyrics and feel the connection with the performer.
One of these musicians can rightfully be considered Kipelov Valery Alexandrovich. This talented person was able to prove himself not only as a performer. He is known as a musician and songwriter. His works are still popular among admirers. Valery was one of the founders of the famous rock band "Aria". After its collapse, he was able to create an equally popular collective of Kipelov. Now, as the successor to Aria, he is gathering millions of fans around the world.
Biography
In the middle of the last century, Valery Kipelov was born. The biography of his early years is practically no different from the average Moscow resident of that time. He studied at the music school in the accordion class. Then he served in the army. There he was also engaged in amateur art.
The first music groups in which Kipelov Valery Alexandrovich participated did not resemble any addiction to rock music. In the ensemble “Six Young”, he met with the current soloist of the Lube group Valery Rastorguev. After that there were VIA "Leisya, song" and VIA "Singing Hearts". However, the turning point in his creative career can be considered the proposal of Viktor Vekshtein, who wanted to create a high-quality heavy metal project on the Russian stage. From an invitation to participate in this idea, Valery Kipelov did not even think to refuse.
Aria Group
The first rock band, which was able to firmly establish itself on the Russian stage and gain wide fame, was the group "Aria". Its founder and non-replaceable vocalist up to the moment of leaving the collective was Valery Alexandrovich Kipelov. His growth as a rock artist can be attributed to the period of the group's existence. It was one of the centers of rock culture that was only developing in the country literally from the moment of its creation in 1985 until its collapse, which had already happened in modern Russia in 2002.
Kipelov Valery Alexandrovich was the author and co-author of many songs in the repertoire of this group. From under his hands came lyrical ballads, for example, “Sunset”, “Dreams” and more rigid compositions - “Dead Zone”, “Dirt”.
Difficulties and split in the group
Like many groups in which really talented personalities gathered, the Aria group could not do without internal conflicts and problems. The first split can be attributed to 1987. Then, only Kipelov Valery Alexandrovich and guitarist Valery Holstinin remained in the composition. After this short crisis, the group was replenished with new members who became its main participants - Vitaly Dubinin, Sergey Mavrin and Maxim Udalov.
Then, during the crisis that swept the whole country in the 90s of the last century, the group was almost on the verge of collapse. Money was sorely lacking to maintain the level of the team. The situation with performances and invitations was also very difficult for all musicians at that time. Therefore, Valery Kipelov begins to perform in nightclubs with another team - "Master". Such an act was rated as the breakup of a group. Indeed, it is impossible to perform without a soloist. Only the reaction of the record company was able to prevent the final split. Her agents threatened with large fines for violating all the terms of the contract, which had already been signed and had to be carried out at all costs.
Disagreements between the participants peaked in 2001. The last performance was the Invasion festival, where the musicians decided to disband the group and begin a solo career. Thus, a new team appeared - “Kipelov”, under the direction of the vocalist of “Aria” and two other members.
Kipelov Group
The official formation of the new group can be considered September 1, 2002. Immediately after the formation of the composition, the new team went on a tour of Russia. Many of the compositions that were performed at that moment were the personal works of the vocalist, and only Kipelov Valery Alexandrovich had the right to perform them. Photos from the concerts of the new group show that there were no fundamental changes in style or concept. These were all the same fathers of Russian rock, as they were ten years ago.
Popularity among the people during this time not only did not decrease, but it seems, on the contrary, began to grow every year. Valery Kipelov received the award in the nomination "Fathers of Rock" in 2007. This was followed by numerous concerts, including in the Luzhniki Stadium, for which the group was given a special award "Best Live Concert of 2007". Until 2015, the team released new compositions and participated in many festivals.
Personal life
Not all popular musicians strive to ensure that their personal lives are discussed in all newspapers. To such people for whom the recognition of creativity is more important than cheap popularity due to gossip, Valery Kipelov also belongs. His personal life is little discussed, and perhaps, therefore, it develops quite successfully. It is known that he was married only once and still lives with his wife. He has two children - Jeanne and Alexander, who also followed in the footsteps of his father and are fond of music. They also gave Valery Kipelov and two granddaughters, the youngest of whom was born in 2009.
Achievements
If you do not take into account achievements in your personal life and consider only creative victories, then there are a lot of various nominations. They are very pleased with the large army of fans. In 2007, the first victory in the "Fathers of Doom" nomination. Then 2012 was successful - “Best Performer” and “Soloist of the Year”. The following year also brought victory in the Russian top 2012 following the results of the previous year. And even despite a very long career, Valery Kipelov’s fame did not fall at all, as the nomination in 2015 says.
