"Woman in black"
If you are interested in Adrian Rawlins in his youth and mystical thrillers, then this picture will appeal to you. In 1989, the English director Herbert Wise made a film based on the novel of the same name by S. Hill.
At the center of the story is a young lawyer by E. Rawlins. He is forced to go to the east coast of England in a small provincial town. The purpose of the trip is to register the property of a recently deceased single widow. Only he and the local lawyer are present at the funeral. Suddenly, in a church, Arthur notices a woman in black, after which he sees her in the cemetery and near the house. But the stranger is silent, however, the locals cannot answer the questions of the young lawyer about who she is.
It is noteworthy that in 2012 a remake of the film was shot, and the main role in it this time was played by J. Radcliffe, the screen son of E. Rawlins in the Harry Potter saga.
"My brother Tom"
The dramatic tape of the Englishman of the House of Roserow generated controversial opinions, but still was able to get approving reviews from critics and the attention of the viewer. In the film, Rawlins Adrian plays a supporting role. However, his work is interesting in the context of the whole picture.
The plot is built around two teenagers - the balanced and judicious Jessica and the bright and emotional schoolboy Tom. They live in completely different worlds, but this does not prevent them from becoming strong friends and organizing their own corner in the forest. This is where they escape from the difficult situation in the family and problems at school.
The film tells the viewer a touching and not quite ordinary love story that touches to the core and leaves a vivid impression for a long time.
"Wilbur wants to commit suicide"
In the film by Danish filmmaker Lone Scherfig, Rawlins Adrian received one of the main roles. The feature film was shot in 2002 according to its own script and contains elements of a black comedy.
The plot focuses on a young man, presumably between the ages of 20 and 30, but the level of development of his worldview has stopped at the teenage. His whole life is a series of unsuccessful suicide attempts. This is due to a happy accident and older brother Harbor performed by E. Rawlins. The situation changes dramatically with the advent of his bride and her little daughter.
The dramatic film with comedy elements has received eleven awards at various film screenings and festivals, the total number of nominations is almost double - 20.

Screen adaptation of the immortal classic L.N. Tolstoy made a splash in the UK. The four-volume story embodied on the screen is shown in the plane of love triangles and suffering. In the novel, the image of a peasant does not take up much space, but its semantic significance is great.
