Logest refers to a low-dose, monophasic oral estrogen-progestogen (combination type) contraceptive.

The effect of contraception is due to the action of various complementary mechanisms. Logest instruction is described as a drug that can suppress ovulation and change the properties of cervical secretions.

As clinical practice shows, after women take contraceptives, the menstrual cycle normalizes, the intensity of bleeding decreases, and soreness decreases. Due to the above factors, the likelihood of iron deficiency anemia is reduced. Some experts also note a decrease in the risk of developing ovarian and endometrial cancer.

Adverse reactions to the drug can be tension or pain in the mammary glands, their increase or discharge from them, spotting (spotting) from the vagina, uterine breakthrough bleeding, migraine, headache, vomiting, change in libido, mood swings, abdominal pain, cholestatic jaundice, erythema nodosum, weight change, skin rash, fluid retention. In rare cases, diarrhea, chloasma, and fatigue may occur.
