Seafood Rice - Recipes

As everyone knows, seafood is considered a very nutritious and wholesome food. It is very important that at least some of these products are included in the nutrition of everyone. That is why I would like to offer you several recipes for making such a regular side dish, like rice in combination with seafood.

Seafood Rice - Portuguese Recipe

Products for cooking:

  • saffron - a pinch;
  • olive oil;
  • bulb;
  • garlic - 5-6 cloves;
  • canned anchovies - 10-12 pieces;
  • Bay leaf;
  • Lisbon paste - 3-4 tablespoons;
  • rice - 2 glasses;
  • dry white wine - half a glass;
  • sea ​​fish fillet - 450 g;
  • canned tomatoes - a glass;
  • mussels - 10-12 pieces;
  • crab meat - about 320 g;
  • squid meat - 420 g;
  • king prawns - 9-11 pieces;
  • red pepper - 2-3 pieces;
  • salt.

First you need to soak the saffron for 22 minutes in one and a half liters of hot broth. Then finely chop the onion, and chop the garlic with a knife. Then bring the broth cooked in advance to a boil over low heat and keep it hot.

Cook pasta Lisbon. To do this, preheat the oven to 185 degrees and place peppers greased with olive oil in it. Bake them for 16 minutes, then peel the seeds, seeds and cut each pepper in half. Now you need to sprinkle pepper with salt, cover with cling film and let it brew for a while at room temperature. Then put it in a pan, pour water and boil for 3-4 minutes. Then drain and cool. In a blender, mix garlic, paprika, salt, spices and baked pepper. Lisbon pasta is ready.

Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and fry the garlic and onions in it, while stirring constantly. Then add anchovies, Lisbon paste and bay leaf. Cook all this for about two minutes, then add rice and mix thoroughly. After that pour the wine and add the tomatoes.

Cook everything over low heat, stirring all the time. Then add hot broth (5 cups) in portions over 20 minutes. Then add seafood and add the remaining broth. The dish is cooked until the mussels open. Served rice with seafood, the recipe of which is described above, sprinkled with herbs and decorated with olives.

Seafood Rice - Vegetable Recipe

For cooking:

  • seafood mix (to taste) - 550 g;
  • rice - 330 g;
  • red bell pepper - a couple of pieces;
  • celery - 1 stalk;
  • olive oil.

If you use frozen seafood, then they must be thawed in advance at room temperature. Then boil them in salt water. Now cut the pepper lengthwise into two parts, peel the seeds and cut into strips. Rice should be slightly fried in a pan with oil, then pour 760 ml of water. Then add salt and simmer for about 14 minutes over low heat with the lid closed.

Meanwhile, peel the celery, rinse and chop. Then lightly fry it in a separate pan. After a couple of minutes add sliced ​​pepper, pour in a little water and mix everything. Cook for another 12 minutes. When everything is ready, put the dish on a large plate and place seafood with vegetables on top. Fried rice with seafood is very tasty and satisfying. Seafood Rice - Garlic Recipe

Products for cooking:

  • mussels - 450 g;
  • bulb;
  • garlic - a couple of cloves;
  • carrots - 1 piece;
  • salt, butter;
  • rice - 230 g;
  • saffron;
  • broth - half a liter;
  • white wine - a glass;
  • Bay leaf;
  • shrimp - 340 g;
  • canned tuna - 130 g;
  • thyme - a twig.

Initially, you should hold the mussels in cool water, then boil in salted water until they open. Now chop finely chopped onion and onion. Carrots should be chopped into thin slices, then mix all the vegetables and simmer for about 6 minutes in a skillet with the addition of oil. To do this, take a deep frying pan, so that then rice fits in it. After the vegetables are stewed a little, you need to add rice and salt.

Now you need to pour saffron with cold water and hold for a bit. After a while, add it to the broth with wine and pour the vegetables with the mixture. Dip the bay leaf there and simmer with the lid closed. After that, place the dish in the oven, where rice should be cooked for an hour at 185 degrees. At the end of cooking, add mussels, shrimp, thyme to the rice and leave for another 17 minutes. Great seafood pilaf ready!
