Shrimp is a very healthy and tasty product with dietary qualities. Shrimp in Tomato Sauce
You will need the following ingredients:
- onions - one middle head;
- garlic - a few cloves (to taste);
- tomato paste - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- pepper, vegetable oil, salt;
- greens.
Boil the shrimp in salted water (as usual). Finely chop the onion and fry it in vegetable oil until golden brown. Add tomato paste, spices, herbs, mix and simmer for several minutes.
The dish will be much tastier if you put out the shrimp in this sauce. In this case, you will have to spend 15 minutes. And do not forget to mix, so that the sauce does not burn. In addition, you do not need to use too much oil, otherwise the sauce will turn out to be very greasy. The optimal amount is a couple of canteens.
The recipe is for 0.5kg shrimp.
Shrimps in a creamy garlic sauce
You will need:
- butter - 50g;
- garlic - a few cloves;
- cream - one glass;
- greens, salt.
Melt the butter in a pan. Add crushed garlic and simmer for several minutes over low heat. Pour in the cream, mix and let it boil. Add greens and salt. You can put shrimp in the sauce - it will turn out even tastier. After about ten minutes, remove the shrimp, and the sauce may need to be left on the fire for a couple of minutes to thicken. When serving, pour shrimp with sauce.
If you cook a creamy garlic or tomato sauce for shrimp, rice or potatoes are good as a side dish. The recipe is for 1 kg of shrimp.
Before stewing the shrimp, it is advisable to clean them.
Ginger sauce
Take a small onion, thinly sliced ginger root in the amount of a quarter cup, half a cup of soy sauce, and ΒΌ tbsp. apple cider vinegar. Now you can do the cooking of the sauce itself. All ingredients should be placed in a blender or food processor. Then you need to place the sauce in a prepared container, cover it with a lid and keep in the refrigerator until serving.
Pink sauce
To make this sauce popular in Italy, you need a spoonful of ketchup, a spoonful of cognac, a glass of dry white wine, a glass of mayonnaise, a little sea salt.
Mayonnaise, ketchup and cognac should be mixed in a separate bowl. Shrimps must be boiled for a minute, then put them in the sauce.
Yogurt sauce
For its preparation, you should take natural yogurt - 1.5 cups, garlic - 4 cloves, a glass of lime juice, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, a bunch of cilantro, pepper, salt.
In an enameled dish you need to mix all the cooked ingredients: crushed garlic, herbs, yogurt, lime juice, oil. Add salt to taste (it is better to use sea salt) and mix thoroughly. The sauce should stand under the lid for about half an hour. Then cook the shrimp, put on a dish and pour them with sauce.
Shrimps themselves are very tasty, but with the addition of various sauces, their taste is fully disclosed and gives real pleasure to those who decide to try such a great snack. Shrimp sauce, which does not use mayonnaise, will be light and low-calorie, so you can cook it without fear for your figure.
