Russian cinema is replenished almost weekly with new films, mini-series and television shows. They are not always in demand among the viewer, but this cannot be said about the 2006 television product. The film "Prescription Happiness", whose actors and roles immediately fell in love with the viewer, was repeatedly broadcast on weekends on leading national channels.
Plot

In addition, the image of the main character is so “down-to-earth" that many women in Russia and neighboring countries could easily draw a parallel with themselves. By the way, the picture became an adaptation of Catherine Wilmont’s novel “Chicken in Flight”.

The plot takes place in several time periods. The main character recalls her childhood, youth, first love. The second storyline unfolds in 2005, when the girl had already entered a mature life.
The main character is Ella Yakusheva. She is practically successful, busy at work, she has an “almost” beloved person. Every day, Ella is so busy that she completely forgot about "her beloved." Because of this, friends, acquaintances, and even work colleagues begin to subtly hint to Yakusheva that it is time to take up their appearance.
The main character understands that she is completely mired in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and with warm sadness recalls the past days of her childhood, when she was a little girl and lived in Odessa with her family. In high school, the ideal family life ended - Ella's mother divorced her father and left with her new husband for Europe, having disappeared for many years.
Like any protagonist, Ella has a very pretty and confident best friend, as well as a mother who has been living abroad for a long time. After a long separation, the mother decides to invite her daughter to Prague, where she lives in a luxurious mansion. Ella goes to her mother with the only desire - to please her. After this meeting, her life changes dramatically.
Yakusheva decides to quit law, she accidentally plunges into the world of reality shows and becomes the leading culinary program. But what about love? Her man is already waiting for her and even loves, but so far neither Ella, nor her future chosen one even know about it.

It's no secret that 50% of the success of any TV product depends on the talent of the director. Dmitry Brusnikin masterfully coped with his task in the film "Prescription Happiness". The cast of the film performed the rest of the "deal." They got the most out of the role.
By the way, the director himself was so immersed in the process that he turned into one of the main male characters in the film. He played Dmitry Vorontsov - the beloved of the main character Ella. In Brusnikin's piggy bank, this is the fifth director's work.
