Kote Daushvili is a talented actor who has made a huge contribution to the development of Georgian cinema. This audience was remembered by the Russian audience for the paintings “Do not Cry!”, “Mimino”, “The Tree of Desire”. Favorite genres of the actor were drama and comedy. Kote Daushvili: the beginning of the road

The actor was born in sunny Baku, it happened in March 1909. Kote Daushvili was born in an ordinary family, he does not have famous relatives. He was still a schoolboy when he realized that the acting profession is his vocation. The boy helped in this participation in amateur performances.

Kote was barely 19 years old when he joined the creative team of the Tbilisi Theater of the Red Army. Two years later, a talented young man moved to the Mardzhanshvili Theater. Almost immediately, he managed to get into the ranks of leading actors, Daushvili was assigned one main role after another. It was then that Kote had his first fans, although he himself, of course, dreamed of more.

The beginning of a film career

On the set, Kote Daushvili first found himself in 1932. The debut for him was the action-packed drama "Conveniently", in which the aspiring actor played one of the central roles. Further, the young man played in the films "Dark Plain" and "Beyond the River", which were not particularly successful with the audience.

For the first time, Dushvili managed to attract public interest thanks to the military drama Friends. This film tells the story of the inhabitants of the North Caucasus after the events of 1917. Kote in this picture managed to create a vivid image of the brave Kabardian Umar.

Filmography

The first successes inspired Kote Daushvili. The filmography of the talented actor began to actively replenish. In the 40-50s, the following tapes with the participation of the star were presented to the audience court:

Noteworthy is the picture "The Tree of Desire", which was shot by Tengiz Abuladze. In this film, Kote played the wise Elder Tsitsikore. A brave and purposeful hero serves his people, he is ready at any cost to fight for the preservation of traditions. No events can force him to turn off the chosen path once.

Death

The last time the brilliant Kote Daushvili appeared on the set in 1979. The actor starred in the drama "Land of Our Fathers", which tells about the events that took place during the Great Patriotic War.

Unfortunately, Daushvili did not live up to the world premiere of his last film. A talented actor died in July 1980. Kote left this world at the age of 71, and his death was a real tragedy for many fans.
